Visiting from Australia, we chose Abel Tasman Haven because of its quiet location and its great Trip Advisor reviews. We found it to be exactly as other reviewers have all said - excellent! We stayed four nights in the larger of the three cabins, cabin no 3. It was clean, well appointed, had a very comfortable bed, a good bathroom,...

We first met the nice dog Bella, and that was funny because our dog Budo looked like her. A pity that she has problems with her hips. And she is only 4. Rose had a warm welcome for us and that was fine, because we were very tired from our hike from Torrent bay via Anchorage beach back to Marahau....

We stayed at Abel Tasman Haven either side of our 3 day walk in the National Park. Very clean cottages with comfortable beds, a kitchenette and a shower and toilet. Cottages are airy and set well back from the road. Conveniently located next to the water taxi and kayak companies. Also a handy walk to dining out choices and the...

This is a great location to explore southern end of Abel Tasman National park. Very friendly owners who will guide you to local beaches & attractions. If you go out you'll need a torch if returning late.

A very warm welcome from Rose and her beautiful labrador,Bella. We loved our private, clean, modern chalet with its great views of the Abel Tasman National Park, which is a stone's throw away. Eat at Fat Tui and Park Cafe, both of which are nearby. Rose is a wealth of info, tips and advice which she is very willing to share.

We started to walk from Marahau. The path are very fine and you have wonderful views Along the track. If you don't stay over night and only do a day walk you have to take the same route back again. If you want to avoid that it is possible to take a water taxi and then go back.
