Dude was super friendly and helpful and even drove us to the airport! Clean rooms with lots of clean towels every day with a good breakfast. Bus stop is right outside and goes straight to the main plaza to explore all of venice

This place is great, the rooms are a little small but everything is amazing. The guy running it doesn't speak any English so it was a little difficult to communicate but he was an amazing host. Our flight was late and we didn't get in until late and he was outside in the cold waiting on us. He mad us... More

Didn't stay at this B&B but I wish I did. We got horribly lost in Venice and ended up here and the owner Gianni helped to save us. He let us use his computer to find out where we were going, called us a taxi, and stayed with us while it came. He even gave us recommendations for things to... More

In my opinion this is a place for people that are very independent and do not require to go to the reception desk every 5 minutes. The owner greeted us upon arriva, gave us a map and explained all the essentials about the area and how to get to Venice. After that we saw him once during breakfast and never... More

Al Giardino is a great place to stay. We had a minor problem when we got there: the suite room we booked wasn't available due to electricity problems. However, we stayed in another private room, really cosy and clean. Gianni was really kind to us and pointed some places to look for in Venice. The bus stop in front of... More

Thanks for the nice review, for us it was a pleasure to host. Sorry that the apartment was not available, but unfortunately the bad weather there was in Venice when you came caused problems to the public network ENEL from which we provide for electricity. As for breakfast, unfortunately in Veneto we can provide only pre-packaged food. And for us... More

We really enjoyed my stay in this hotel but there were one or two minor problems. Firstly, the directions given by the hotel aren't brilliantly accurate, the buses are notoriously tricky in Italy as buying tickets and getting off at the correct stop can be a bit of a problem. Tickets are bought in nearby shops and cafés not on... More

Thanks for the review! As for the organization of public transport can quote my old uncle: "Different countries, different traditions that you find!" Seriously, Venice is a city that has a public transport system very special: it is an integrated system that includes mostly normal city buses and "vaporetti", the famous water bus. To help our guests to understand and... More

In a few words, "Al Giardino Bed and Breakfast" is a nice place to stay, especially for backpackers. At first the owner, Gianni, was very helpful at pointing out the best places to visit in the neighbourhood as well as in Venice. As far as the room is concerned, it was clean and had a lovely view of the hotel's... More

Thanks for the review, for us it was a pleasure to host you! I'm sorry for the cleaner air of the bathroom, unfortunately electrical devices occasionally break and often it is difficult to find a technician who do maintenance on the day of reporting. Thank you again, and when and if you want, we are still here:-)! More

My husband and I have traveled to many countries and stayed at many properties ranging from budget options to more luxurious ones. One of the things that my grandfather was often said that "as a person try to explain as best he can , many people will understand only and exclusively what they want to understand." I have not always agreed with my grandfather, but I think in the case of these guests to my grandfather's right! These guests are a couple... More

If you are a backpacker or a relax tourist definitely is a great place to stay. The room floor was a quite dusty but he got clean sheets. Thanks for the review! In Italy, the bed and breakfast are part of the welcome extra hotel and refer to non-professional hospitality in private homes (I think it's the same in Ireland, the country of your origin). In the B&B Italian so there is a professional service, but great for a family welcome backpackers and those looking for a hospitality... More

We booked this B and B because it is close to Marco Polo airport. This is the only thing in its favour. For us it served a purpose and we were there for less than 12 hours. I did not want to be there a moment longer than necessary and we preferred to be 3 hours early for our flight... More

We regret that these guests have had a vision so bad of our B&B. Rather, we ask, but these guests were really with us or you are wrong? Try, with great patience, to clarify some things. We are surprised by the fact that the review is negative despite these guests give a positive opinion on: proximity to airport, clean towels... More
