Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. The reception staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. I was late for a local meeting - they drove me there themselves ! The restaurant staff, particulary Catherina and Salvatore, treated us like family. They even cooked off-menu for us. Sure, the decor is a little tired in places. But the rooms...

At first sight of the hotel I thought we had made a mistake and had entered a military establishment. The car park was full of camouflaged Land-Rovers and carabinieri vehicles. Next we noticed that the pool was empty. It didn't get any better inside: badly faded carpets and generally poor decoration. Looking at the reviews here it is clear that...

My advice is do not stay here while the migrant crisis in Sicily is still going on. The police and the army are using it as a base. The rooms are poor, the pool is empty and the bar and food are not worth getting out of bed for. Choose something in the city.

Great service and friendly helpful staff. We arrived late and were able to get some hot snacks. The restaurant was empty. Breakfast was ok. No hot food but a good choice of cold buffet. Our room had a balcony and lovely view but a little "tired". We stayed Easter Friday and not busy ..convenient for one night.

The beds are rock-hard and the pillows are very thin. Sleeping accommodations are uncomfortable. The carpets are stained and discolored in many areas around the hotel. There were also unpainted patches and cracked windows in the stairwells. I stayed on the top floor where there was no hot water (only lukewarm) and the water pressure barely usable. There is no...

Our room was large but not that nicely furnished and the bed was rock hard. It was somewhat off season but we were still surprised that the pool was very green already. Most of the other guests were armed police officers who seemed to be there more training we hoped... Stay in Caltagirone itself which is lovely.

Nice hotel but a long way from the town and restaurants. The restaurant food was Ok but limited choice. Maybe better to take the half board option. There was bacon and eggs at breakfast but these were usually cold. The rooms with terrace are good and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a bath but once full the...

As a family we were given a spacious room with a large bathroom. A little bit dated but overall comfortable with very good service and staff. We ate in the restaurant which was above average..........

We are traveling as a group of 27 travelers to Sicily, a trip I organized through our local University Club. A very well-established tour agency has handled the details. Ten days before our departure time this hotel canceled our reservations, indicating that we were being displaced by the Defense Department of Italy. Supposedly an Army meeting of some sort. What...

Third hotel/B and B we have stayed in on our tour around Sicily and what a dump this place is. Very poorly located across the street from a major hospital. A foul odour hangs in the air as you approach this wretched place. There is no signage anywhere and the street address is incorrect so we drove past it twice....
