Nice modern rooms, clean, and great breakfast. Hotel has a Irish-styled restaurant with good beer and decent food. Hotel front desk staff speak English. I have stayed at other hotels in VL and the Amaris is definitely the best.
The rooms are large and they offer good possibilities for family accommodation. There is a controlled parking accessible for hotel guests. The bar in the hotel offers several dishes at a very reasonable price. The room rates are also quite cheap. The service at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Good hotel the we can recommend.
A little in the middle of nowhere, you find Amaris, a simple welcoming property with a fantastic kitchen in their Irish bar. You can come just for the bread:-) but all the food is excellent, as well as the staff’s dedication.
After driving 12 hours on Russian roads in the winter we chose this hotel to stay the night before crossing the border into Latvia. *Perfect* choice! It is very unassuming from the outside but inside is fine and modern. Rooms are on the small side, but the bed we had was big and super comfy. Everything is very clean and the bathroom was by far the best during our road trip from Central Russia to the middle of France - super shower, with plenty of room for two. My wife and I liked the "Irish" pub that is the hotel's restaurant. When we first checked in I had wandered in to get a couple of draft beers to take back to the room since my wife and I weren't sure about dinner (it was late). When the waitress saw me trying to juggle the two beers and my room card key, she offered to carry them for me to the room. After a few sips of beer in the room my wife and I decided to have a light dinner, so we visited the pub. I'm glad we did. Service was fast and the salads and appetizers were great. They were playing Beatles music on vintage vinyl records, the barman coming out to the record player to flip the albums from time to time. It was a really mellow and good experience. The next morning we had a buffet breakfast (very basic, nothing special, but great coffee) and moved on. Best of all, the Internet was easily the best I've experienced at any hotel I've stayed at in the last few years, and that includes in Silicon Valley in California. I was just astonished by how fast it was, and this was in a hotel in the evening that was totally booked. There are so many hotels these days that offer "Internet" which is too slow to use I really want to commend this hotel for providing genuinely fast and useful Internet. This hotel is about a ten minute drive off the main highway between Latvia and Moscow. Don't let that put you off as it is worth the drive.…
Previously a kindergarten, it looks rather modest but the rooms are wide and comfortable, with an excellent wi-fi free. Appreciable restaurant services and inside an Irish pub where you can find plenty of beers. The position is not that central
