Parking is very difficult. It is in a charming location and in a quiet village. The reception on arrival was annoying and not flexible. The rooms were small, but with a nice view. The restaurant was very good.

On our fourth visit to Tuscany, we found a gen of a hotel, tucked into a quiet village overlooking Assisi in Umbria! A total WOW, the meals were something to celebrate, and breakfast outdoors by the lovely swimming pool overlooking the Umbrian countryside from the fortified town above was something we'll always fondly remember! Charm everywhere! Care given to the... More

We stayed at this hotel in September and the entire experience was amazing! The room was so clean and spacious. We had an awesome view from our room. The staff members working here are very friendly, especially the staff in the restaurant. He welcomed us with a warm smile every morning when we went down for breakfast. We had dinner... More

We thought that this was a real find, well appointed, reasonable price, quiet, in fact the works. Sadly however there are dogs that bark in the night, and bark, and bark - endlessly. If you stay here you need to be sure that the air conditioning works (ours did not) so you can shut the window without suffocation. A very... More

Bettona is situated on a little hill and the hotel is right on the top. The scenery is lovely, the rooms are rustic Italian, large and clean. it does have a small pool. If in summer, I suggest having the meals on the terrace. There a lovely view there. The breakfast was o.k.

The hotel is nice but average. Breakfast was normal italian fare which i normally love but I found their food to be a bit below par - the pastries were a bit stale - by the time i arrived for breakfast each morning it was all that was left as they seem to have a limited amount of food. I... More

Bettona is a little medieval town perfectly restored and full of history, a fine painting museum, preciuos buildings and fabulous landscapes (the town it's built on a rock topping a 360° valley). The Relais La Corte di Bettona is a full four-star little gem, right in the middle of the historic center and deserves a visit for the total silence,... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. It is located in a very quaint and pretty small town, Bettona. The hotel reminded me of a Best Western. It was clean, but very plain. Our room was clean but we had a problem controlling the heat and it got so hot we had to sleep with the window open.... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night during our honeymoon road trip through Europe. We stayed at over 20 hotels on our honeymoon and this hotel was one of our favorites. It was rural, intimate and located in a peaceful and rustic location. We stayed half board for a fantastic price. The evening meal alone was worth the money... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Relais La Corte di Bettona lies in the heart of the old town centre. In fact, it's entrance faces the main square. The building, which was originally a medieval 'hospitale' for pilgrims and orphans in the 14th century, stretches out within the village in a series of enchanting terraces, solariums, and lookouts that are perfectly equipped and designed for guests seeking a truly exclusive relaxing holiday. The entire facility has been further enhanced by an impressive restoration project that united elegance and sophistication with the original spirit of the place. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately envelops guests upon entry. There are spacious common areas for chatting, reading a magazine or enjoying an aperitif or drink to the bright tunes of live music. The staff is courteous, efficient, and always ready to help. At Relais La Corte di Bettona hospitality is not a profession but rather a calling, and we continuously monitor, adjust, and improve our services in order to meet all guest needs. ... more   less
