Attended this pub on the Friday night and that was fantastic. We returned for the party on the Saturday. The buffet was brilliant the decorations were fab. I would go again for a meal or a party. Good beers and good wine selection. Staff very friendly.

Went here for Sunday lunch as an alternative. Wow dinner was fab. Excellent service, food extremely good for value. Meat plentiful and succulent real fresh veg all home cooked. Only downside no mash potato will certainly visit again an maybe book a room in order to enjoy the ambience

Great local pub for me, always good food, great staff, cosy environment, maybe furnishings are dated, but you go for good food. Quick service, clean and tidy. The menu is varied, and they also do an early bird menu which is really good value for money.

This pub is very busy so I would recommend you book a table. The dining room is quite small so there are only a few tables. The food was hot and tasty. Service was good. Recommend this pub. There is an al la cartel menu or the days specials so plenty of choice. The dessert menu is limited

Stayed a couple of times now. Very friendly staff. Very clean, lovely beer garden and excellent food. We had a full English. The decor is in keeping with the age and style of the property. It is near Prestatyn and Rhyl

We had a very pleasant old fashioned pub lunch is a dining room which was clean and neat. However it confuses cosy with dated. The drapes for example were a left over from the 1970's in style. The food was however very good value for money - three tasty and filling courses for under £9 is hard to beat! The... More

We were stopping at a caravan park and one of the owners recommended this pub, she said to ring and book a table as they get very busy. We decided to go for a drink at lunchtime, the beer garden was beautiful, with a children's play area. That evening we went at 6.30pm and were offered the normal and the... More

Once again great food in great surroundings. Will try the burger night next as it seems to have a great reputation. Booking is a must as there is never a spare seat in the house. Even the kids meals are great value for money.

Visited today because of all the Face Book raves and walked into a real traditional pub. However from the reviews I thought this cant be the same pub until a lovely bar member came through and said have you seen the restaurant area and the gardens! I explained we had come to visit due to the reviews and when introduced... More

The food is fresh and the service as at a 5 star hotel. Monday night is 2 for £15, £2.50 supplement for sirloin steak. Though this is an offer night the food quality or service is not diminished. The burgers are enormous and of a quality you would not better. Only tried Monday evening, like a bargain. Beautiful beer garden... More
