Long overdue review! My family trip to Blue Haven was the most relaxing beach vacation we have ever taken at an all-inclusive resort. The rooms and amenities are luxurious. We never had to wake up early to save beach chairs, it was truly a stress-free experience. The resort staff is amazing and made the experience extra special. I would like to specifically thank Dio for making our vacation extra special. We had two birthdays in the family that week. Dio went out of his way to reserve us special seats with cake and champagne waiting for us during one of the beach parties. We are already talking about returning again and making this an annual trip. This is the best resort if your goal is to relax with no plans!

Blue Haven Resort was just that. A Haven. From the incredible staff (many of those with names I can't remember but Lopez, Trey on the beach were fantastic; Lexxie at check in was incredibly sweet!) to the exceptionally clean property, I was really glad we chose to stay here.
We took a $40 dollar cab from the airport and were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite for our anniversary, which was ocean front and such a delight. The housekeeping cleaned our room every day. I was a little disappointed with the dining options, however. For breakfast, there was a buffet available with omelette station, which was adequate at a restaurant called Fire & Ice. The coffee wasn't fantastic, but there is a coffee shop onsite, which guests enjoy real cappachinos, at their leisure. Lunch was mostly at the Beach Grille, which was okay, and served mostly burgers, hotdogs, chicken wraps and such. Fire & Ice also served dinner, which was really average, at best, unfortunately. Later in the week, a restaurant called Salt opened up, which is Italian based and really good; we went there twice. There were long wait times for food at times and it seemed that they were short staffed, but I believe we traveled there only shortly after their re-opening. We did venture out for dinner to Grace Bay given this, but I wouldn't say the dining options were enough to prevent me from staying here again. We did use the spa and did a couple massage, which was amazing! My husband used the gym and found it adequate, as well.
Of note, the location of the property is in Leeward and not in Grace Bay (where most other hotels/restaurants are). I enjoyed the quietness/isolated aspect of this, especially given the COVID pandemic. The beach is manmade, too and extends into some grassy area. There are beautiful views of the marina with tons of yachts and boats, however.
Blue Haven has two sister properties: Alexandra and Beach House, which guests can travel to back and forth using a shuttle that runs every two hours. Alexandra is maybe considered the "more fun" and "happening" hotel, is right on the beach, and has plenty of entertainment. A lot of the excursions leave from this location, owing to the busy-ness of the property. It was a little busy for our taste during COVID times, but certainly, worth a trip to. Beach House was incredibly serene. Much quieter, peaceful and is "Adults Only". The beach is to die for with incredible views and the sand is super soft. We only tried the lunch restaurant/shack at both places and none of the restaurants at either sister property, so unfortunately, can't comment on that aspect.
Overall, it was a great stay. Quiet, clean (with incredibly comfortable beds!!), accommodating, with beautiful views. And the welcoming aspect of Blue Haven really made our vacation all the more amazing.

My family and visited the Blue Haven Resort in June. From the moment we stepped out of our taxi from the airport, we were greater with a smile, and a beyond professional staff. The front desk staff were expecting us and had everything prepared before we arrived. They even scheduled our return Covid tests before we arrived, which helped alleviate that stress and we were able to enjoy our stay without thinking about it. Our room was gorgeous, with a magnificent view of the ocean and pool. Our room was clean and very spacious. The in unit washer and dryer were key for making our stay easy and convenient, especially with having small kids. My kids loved that the pool and beach were within steps of each other and didn’t have to choose between the two. Reggie and O’Brien at the pool bar kept the drinks flowing all day long. Each meal was delicious, we especially loved the delicious hand made pizzas at Salt. We took the shuttle to Alexandra for a beach day and for dinner one night. Loved that we were able to have a change of scenery but was happy to come back to Blue Haven at the end of the day. The staff did everything they could to make our meals and stay perfection. Francisco, the manager made sure he visited with us each day, my daughters called him their best friend by the end of the week. We loved it at Blue Haven and we already can’t wait to visit again!

Travelling under COVID restrictions is not pleasant. After an 11hr travel day for a 4hr flight seems really long, but when you arrive at Blue Haven and are handed a glass of sparkling wine and a cold towel, you forget about your travel day.
We were greeted by Tanya at the front desk – her big beautiful smile welcomes you and your forget about everything else. Tanya’s attitude is awesome and just what you need when you arrive. Check-in was a breeze and our 1 bedroom suite was amazing. Blue Haven is a great place and we loved the property – small with only 51 rooms, a private beach, an attached marina and lots of boats/jet skis around to keep you busy throughout the day (if you are into boats). Super clean property and the people are fantastic.
A special shout out to Janet who made our breakfast/lunch service fun and very attentive. Reggie also gets a special shout out – super fun and always watching over our needs. Francisco (the GM) is always around over-seeing things and very approachable. Even the Food and Beverage Manager is always willing to help and lend an ear to make things right.
Like I said – we loved the resort – the size, the location, the private beach and the fact that there was no getting up at 6am to place towels on beach/pool chairs etc. Blue Haven is not that kind of place. We absolutely loved it. Food quality is super fresh – fruits, fish, meats and the pizza is worth having, but the best has to be the grilled rib eye with a large grilled lobster tail. Simply delicious. However, your lunch choices are somewhat limited to the beach bar. After a couple of days, you are wishing for some additional lunch options – this is something we provided feedback on to the General Manager and it was very well received. It’s a relatively minor topic, but an important one. In addition, a gust survey was provided to us mid-way through the week and we responded very openly about the lunch options – It is great to see that the Blue Haven management actually read the feedback – both the Food and Beverage Manager and the General Manager came over to speak to us about our feedback. Our feedback was professional and courteous – we are not single time travelers as we are fortunate to have travelled to many places around the world and have dined in top restaurants. We simply loved the Blue Haven Resort and the people, but the lunch options could be made better.
When we returned home and were asked about our trip, our response is always the same “We loved Blue Haven and the people. But the island of Turks and Caicos left us wanting more. We would go back to Blue Haven, but not to Turks.” But that’s a different review.
Thank you Blue Haven for a great week. It’s exactly what we needed.

If you're looking for beauty, class, amazing service and relaxation ... Blue Haven TCI is the place!
I can't explain how wonderful this location and these amazing people are that call this resort their home away from home!
Natalee, Janet, Kamar and Marsha at the Jammin Island Bar are phenomenal. They greeted us with smiles and laughter and were very sweet to us every day. Serving up delicious food and drinks with humor and affection. We enjoyed getting to know them, asking for recommendations and hearing how they ended up here at Blue Haven. We will truly miss y'all!
T'Ange arranged our excursions and on short notice I may add. She will give it to you straight and find you the best deal possible. We booked our clear bottom kayak tour to the mangroves with her for the watersports on resort and the snorkeling public charter with Caicos Dream Tours. Thank you for helping us create memories through the excursions you helped us enjoy!
DaQuan, Damond and Adrian who helped us with the watersports along with 1 other gentlemen (I'm sorry I can't remember the name) were spectacular! DaQuan was our tour guide for the kayaks and was extremely knowledgeable and personable. They all remembered who we were long after our excursion and said hello everyday. The smiles and hellos will be missed!
Sly behind the Fire & Ice Bar is awesome! Not only will he sling you your favorite drink but he offers stories from his travels and how he made his way to Turks which is currently home. Thank you for indulging us and taking the time the share!
Carmen and Nicola are kindhearted souls. Both equally quiet but they greet you with a calm smile and serve with their sweetness. Thank you ladies!
Odessa, Daya and Kerventz with the entertainment team kept us laughing and brought out the competitive side of us during trivia. We loved the games and y'all's personality!
We can't thank you enough for your hospitality and taking care of us! The resort is beautiful. Food and drinks were delicious. It's a more low key and less crowded resort it and was exactly what we needed. THANK YOU! We will miss seeing the staff who made us feel like family and the views and the ocean everyday. Highly recommend coming here on your next vacation and then come back again!

The property may not be on Grays Beach, but has a beautiful small beach with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrella's and a nice pool area. The restaurants on the property are not bad, plus you can also visit their other 2 properties via their shuttle service for meals. There are 3 bars (1 inside the Italian restaurant which is not always open) unfortunately they seem to close early at 10:30. The bars do have have premium liquors but are not very well stocked. If they run out they either have to run to another bar to borrow a bottle or just tell you their out. One night they even ran out of Coca Cola....they could do a little better in stocking!
Rooms were just a typical hotel room but with plenty of storage. Very comfortable
At times our group of (13) felt like it was our own private resort and we all agreed it was one of our favorites.

I went here for my birthday with my husband and couple friends. As soon as we step down from the taxi, the staff were very welcoming and friendly during check-in proccess and throughout my stay. The resort itself is very beautiful, the water is so clear and the beach is clean.
We had a room right by the beach and can access the beach directly from the room. Housekeeping was also on point too, always restocked our fridge and made our room everyday.
On the day of my birthday, the staff surprised me with room decoration full of roses and champagne bottle! Love, love, love it! And really appreciate that.
During booking our excursions, Lopez was really helpful and funny too, he explained the excursions in great details and the prices were reasonable.
They sister resorts are also wonderful.
Overall, Blue Haven resort really exceed my expectation and I will definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Turks n Caicos!

Turks and Caicos is our favorite Island destination and the Blue Haven is or favorite resort on Turks and Caicos. After trying a few other resorts on the Island, we have been back to the Blue Haven during last 6-7 visits to the Island. Blue Haven has everything we want in a resort. It small with 35 well appointed suites and 24 studio apartments, The beach is never crowded so you don't have to "reserve" chairs and since the resort is on a channel there are no large waves or rough surf. We love the staff with special shout outs to Natalie (who runs the bar like she owns it), Eugene (who works 6-7 days a week and is always in a good mood), Rose (a real gem) and Dio (who does everything and who should probably be a manager). We are especially impressed with the General Manager, Francisco Hodge who spends much of his time mingling with the guests making sure that their expectations are being met. Francisco doesn't shy away when there is a problem. He truly wants your visit to be the best it can be. The man really cares. The food is good (not great) and they mix up the offerings with various dinners on the beach with entertainment. If you are looking for a large resort with lots of nightlife partying with 40-60 year olds trying to drink like 20 year old's the Blue Haven is not for you. If you are looking for a place with great rooms, a private beach and a staff who cares you should give Blue Haven a try.

Last Thursday we arrived at Blue Heaven Resort, I had an additional guest staying in the same room, who was able to get on the trip last minute. Weeks before I checked for the additional cost, it was around $750. When I asked to add her on I was told it’s $300 a day since we are staying for 7 days they wanted $2100
Non negotiable.
The trip initial total was $5600.
On top of it the additional guest is vegetarian and doesn’t drink.
The people running the hotel where very understanding, however corporate had no ears for it to reduce the ridiculous additional cost.
I also got to find out other guest had similar problems as we did.
On top of it the food is just average and a lot of long waiting to get your food.
Many times we ordered food, but got something totally different got served.
I highly recommend you stay away from this facility.

The Blue Haven Resort is amazing. The resort was beautiful!! Every staff member who works there is very accommodating, the ocean view when you step a few yards from the resort is spectacular and the food and drinks were delicious.
TC was especially helpful in assuring my room was cleaned and fridge was fully stocked every day.
You absolutely have to visit this very special place in paradise.

Thanks for your interest in Blue Haven and Alexandra Resort. Both resorts have a kid's club which is designed for ages 4-12 years old. Babysitting services can be arranged for an extra cost. We recommend reaching out to our Guest Services team to make arrangements in advance.
If you’re staying at Blue Haven there’s a transit to the sister resort Alexandria which offers a shuttle between the two.
