From the beginning to the end, the experience was incredible. First I got in contact with Luciana from Amazon Verde to book a family budget trip in Amazon. She was amazing! After carefully listening to our needs, she found the most adapted lodge for us. The amazon lodge was way above expectation. The floating lodge is very unique. The staff... More

An amazing, unforgettable experience! I would definitely recommend the Amazon Lodge. Please ignore the negative previous reviews, it appears Amazon Lodge were visited by scammers. Ok so for my trip I was on the Jatoba package. Starting off in the lobby of my hotel, my guide Rudolph arrived on time and I started the transfers into the Amazon by minibus... More

We loved our stay! Being in the quiet djungle, swimming in lovely warm water, boat-trips on a silent river, short hikes in the forest, canoeing on our own around around the lodge, watching the sun rise, enjoying great food and having a great guide and staff around - a life-experience! As other mentioned, bring a book or two for time... More

Wayne S has said it all. This place was not what we expected. No animals or birds. No fenced swimming area. No mosquito nets. No safes and no security. We had no locks on our doors and had to share bathroom and toilet facilities with the staff. Mosquitos come out around 5 pm. The manager tells lies and needs to... More

We were surprise with complains of your friend Mr Wayne and now yours Mrs. Naring Caddie, truly speaking we don’t know what the agency where you bought your package, promised that you will have. This is probably the hardest review of accommodation I've stayed out. The location and boat rides to get to the lodge are fascinating. The lodge is floating on massive logs but is very stable. It is nicely secluded and very quiet. But the manager (Rodolpho?) needs to be replaced. Every sentence is a lie, like there are no mosquitos because... More

We came to the Lodge as the last leg of our South American honeymoon. Having "roughed it" around the world, we were well prepared for the accommodations, and very impressed with the cuisine, considering the lodge is HOURS from Manaus! We enjoyed the hammocks, caipis bar, and taking the canoes out to explore. While we did not see many animals... More

If you're looking for a authentic jungle experience, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly, the energy of the place is great. I felt like home. To simply sit by the deck, have a drink and enjoy the sound of nature, it was a refreshing experience. I would definetely recommend it! I stayed in a superior... More

I had been looking forward to my Amazon trip since I was 6 and learned about the famous rainforest in school. I wanted it to be authentic; secluded; mysterious; and most of all, adventurous. The Amazon Lodge delivered. From pickup at the airport in Manaus - to the boat ride - to the floating lodge, everything was seamless (they were... More

I will say why I gave a 1 (I rarely give 1s or 5s) later... 1 - The guides are lazy, if they happen upon an animal great, otherwise, they are not going to go find anything for you. I saw more birds on the boat ride to the lodge than on the nature tours. 2 - The food is... More
