Visited Chalfont on business and the mid-week weather was glorious so a few beers in the garden in warm sunshine was perfect. Accommodation a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. If not slightly small especially the bathroom. Only had breakfast and it was quite varied and very nice. Spot on for a few nights business and well hosted.

Stayed 2 nights at the White Hart and we were in room 1 in the cottage in the garden. Nice comfortable room however very concerned about the shower as a big split in the ceiling and Sunday Morning suddenly heard water running and they must have been having a shower upstairs as water was coming through the split. This could...

Myself and my business partner stayed here last night for a business trip and found this hotel to be extremely pleasant with great facilities, both rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay a good experience. The menu for evening meals was adequate and the breakfast was fabulous. We will definitely use this...

We had to book somewhere at short notice to attend a funeral and ended up at the White Hart. After driving 250 miles we arrived about 4pm and were shown to our room by a very pleasant Mike. Our expectations weren't high and it was just as well. The room was clean and warm and the bedding was clean but...

We were invited to a 30th birthday party at the White Hart Inn and thought it would be ideal to book a room at the venue. However, a week before the party, we were told that the venue had needed to be changed, it was a bit further down the road, so we kept the booking at the White Hart....

Firstly, the White Hart is in a good location and there is very little alternative if you want to stay in or near Chalfont St Giles. Second, most (but not all) staff were friendly and helpful. My single room was reasonably clean (apart from badly stained toilet) and the bed was comfortable. However, being in the roof, the ceiling was...

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had!!! Works Christmas do that had beeb booked and deposit given by 22 people...when we arrived here, our booking had been canx without explaination!! Told we could not have Xmas menu as we wanted..they begrudgingly put a table of 22 together and gave us a round of free drinks (ok me thinks..thank you)....

A bunch of us popped into the white hart inn for some lunch. I ordered what I presumed to be a safe bet - a baked potato with tuna mayonnaise - big mistake. The meal arrived promptly, probably aided by efficiencies realised through not mixing the tuna and mayonnaise. The wafer thin portion of tuna balanced between the slightly underdone...

Party of 22 organised well in advance and paid in full, only to turn up to be told our booking had been cancelled!!!! Luckily paperwork proved other wise, I want to say it saved the day but that's we're our nightmare began! Pour yourself a large scotch and I shall begin!! To start the night off, we were placed at...

This meal didn't tick any of the boxes for me. I'm writing this review based on a very empty pub and restaurant. Before serving the starters, shouldn't you wait for all member of the party to turn up!! Of course not, just just leave there hot starters sitting in there places. I had the cocktail, very bland, tasteless and very...
