Lovely quaint pub, decor and ambiance lovely. Friendly , helpful staff and really nice room with comfy bed and lovely wee cuddly teddy! Good breakfast choices and well presented. Just visited the restaurant with family and we were all of the same opinion that the Sunday roast was fantastic. I personally had the roast chicken which was really well cooked and not dry at all. Stopped over for a coffee on route. Lovely traditional pub, great menu to temp us, and really good coffee. Landlady was really great - very welcoming and made our visit special. We will definitely plan a longer visit!

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and was staying B&B. I went for a beef roast dinner which was cooked how I asked it for. We went to the Ivy House to have Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday taking family members ranging from 10 years old to 94 years old. Went to have a birthday meal with the family for our mums birthday the staff was friendly and helpful food was good we had just one issue witch was rectified prompt with 2 burgers when ordering please remember to tell the staff how you would like the burger cooked as they cook them like steaks and we was not asked...
