It's a cute and scrupulously clean place. The owner, Patricia, is a gem of a human being. The only drawback is there is no parlor or living room area. We thought that was OK since they have a pastry shop downstairs, so when it was freezing outside we could go there. On our last day the manager, Becky, told us we had to be out of our room at 11:00 at the latest. So we went to the coffee shop to wait for 2 hours until it was time to go to the airport. Becky told us that they were going to be very busy so we had to leave unless we ordered lunch. There isn't anywhere else to go on the island. The only place we could go was to sit in the kitchen where the breakfast is served. She did not even apologize, just threw us out. I saw how busy they got, but she could have offered us the room for longer or made some other arrangement, or even asked us nicely. Other than this unfortunate policy it was really a nice stay.

We spent two nights at this B and B. Patricia met us at the airport as taxi service is a challenge She was a pleasure to meet and deal with. The B and B was very comfortable and had a wonderful location. We had a lovely freshly prepared hot breakfast each day which was a treat. When the taxi did not arrive to pick us up at departure Patricia came on her day off and took us to the airport. Everything was excellent.

We stayed at Nuits St. Pierre for two nights last week. We stayed on the upper floor and, as noted by another reviewer, it was warm up there. We opened the window and it was pleasantly cooled down by bedtime. We loved this B&B and would definitely stay here again. We must have had a communication glitch early in our trip planning as the NSP thought we were arriving by air but we actually arrived on the ferry. (we had considered flying in originally). NSP had sent a driver to pick us up at the airport - and when we arrived on foot from the ferry they were very gracious about the mix-up which was likely our fault.

In addition, NSP offered to make dinner reservations for us a couple of months prior to our trip. Apparently there are only a handful of restaurants in this tiny town so reservations are a must. I mentioned that I was a vegan - which is sometimes hard for some restaurants - but NSP's Betsy came up with restaurants that were happy to accommodate me. (the Creperie and Nico's Grill). Betsy happily visited with us each morning as she prepared delicious breakfasts to suit everyone. I would definitely recommend NSP to anyone who is travelling this way!

When we arrived in Saint Pierre, we were picked up by the owner of the establishment, Patricia. We found her very gracious and friendly. She turned us over to Betsy upon arrival and Betsy explained the timing for the included breakfast and where we could find it as well as letting us know that she would be the one cooking it for us. She did an outstanding job of providing breakfast for several tables of hungry patrons each morning. Betsy was also very helpful in providing recommendations and directions for whatever we were in the mood to do. The room itself was lovely and very comfortable and cozy...and in addition, there was a quaint little tea shop attached where we ended up having lunch every day of our 3 night stay, Les Delices de Josephine, where we had the quiche Lorraine every day...it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Nuits Saint Pierre to anyone going to Saint Pierre.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. The room was beautiful. King bed quite comfortable, crisp white linens with a fabulous bathroom. Breakfast served by a lovely young woman who cooked omelettes, eggs, French toast, anything to our liking with fresh french pastries. We were travelling by bicycle and while they tried to be accommodating for our bikes, in the end there just wasn't room inside or at the adjacent cafe. We just locked them to a pole outside as we were told, many times, "there is no crime on St. Pierre". Next door is Cafe Josephine, amazing food and one of the only places to eat lunch midday other than at a bakery. Terrific cafe, a must!
