On arrival at 6pm on a Monday the doors were locked and nobody in reception which was odd. Later to find out the reception is manned from 6.30! The restaurant is only open from 7.30 pm for dinner and 7.30 am for breakfast. No hairdryer in the room. Smell from the fryers in the kitchen filled the restaurant and my...

Did you ring the dorbel? There is everytime somedy in the castle to welcom our guests. You could ask a hairdryer at the reception, as you could tell us about the smell in your room so we would have been able to do something for you. We're sorry about your disappointment. Thank you.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Though everything was neat and clean, they could improve. For instance: * the toilet seat was broken and glued, * there were some cracks between the bath tub and walls, * there was no sufficient partition between the bath and bathroom floor (so after taking a shower the whole floor...

A hotel, poor mans chateau! in a commercial zone, I guess ok if you want golf practice range. Strange, restaurant closed mid August so beware. Rooms reasonable, odd sort of place with no one about. Breakfast minimum continental.

Overnight stop to break the journey down, revisiting old haunts. Simple room in the old chateau which doubles as the club house, no Wi-Fi, but very peaceful up on the hills above Pontoise. Fair breakfast. Almost adjacent are the Quality Inn Les Impressionnistes, pretty new and dominating the skyline. I expect business travellers would be more at home there but...

I took their last available room for the night of 5 July I decided to book through Booking.com (same price) for the added assurance of free cancellation up to 3 days before my stay. On the very same day of booking I received an email from the Hôtel Château de l'Hermitage stating that they do not have any available rooms...

A group of us selected this hotel as part of an available "deal" for three nights and price-wise we were most happy. We were greeted warmly and all slept well in the good size rooms. Plumbing problems were one complaint which we tended to sort ourselves. A very nice Continental Breakfast was served first day with a smile. After that...

We booked this hotel since we needed something close to Auvers-sur-Oise. The hotel is 5 minutes drive from Auvers-sur-Oise. We arrived by train at Pontoise and first thought that we would take a taxi to the hotel. Unfortunately it did not seem as if the taxis were working on that particular day. I phoned the hotel and Michel Richon offered...
