Title sums it up, we tried other places and wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Excellent value for money. We had the best room on the top level with huge views out to Tena and the hills - not to mention the sunsets. Great little kitchen for cooking which is also on the top level with wonderful views and open air space.

We were supposed to stay in another place but turned out to be too pricey. We also checked other ones nearby, on the main street. One they were just too disgusting, other,no hot water or four floors to walk upstairs... Ufffff difficult! The owner of the restaurant where we ate, told us of this place. And it was very clean, nice and...

We were a bit skeptical about staying here due to some bad reviews on Trip Advisor but in the end the price decided it for us and we have no regrets. When we arrived, the owner was friendly even though we got there quite late, showed us our room (he'd given us the quietest there was which was very good...

Hostal Limoncocha is a nice hostal sitting up high overlooking the whole of Tena. The owner of the hostal is nice, friendly and very helpful. We were treated really well from the first time we walked in. The rooms are very big and very clean. The communal kitchen on the third floor is brilliant and the view from the common...

Our family of five spent a few days here. We arrived after a long bus ride and the owner was wonderful from the very start. He drove down to the bus station and picked up our whole family and their bags after my husband went ahead to find a room. We had a great room with beds for the five...

Very unwelcoming - We were booked for 2 nights and a rafting tour. When we arrived at 5.30/6pm the owner met us in an unwelcoming fashion. He proceeded to tell us then (instead of letting us know before we arrived), that no tour was available tomorrow as there were not enough people. We were tired and frustrated at this point...

Decent place for the value it's worth, only $8 per person with shared bathrooms and not sure what the price was for rooms with private BR. The staff were really friendly. The owner is German and offered to drive us down to the center of town, and always asked to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a...

I needed a place in which to stay and work which had fast internet and this hostal ticked all the boxes. The rooms are clean, have Wifi/TV and there are a number of rooms with private bathrooms as well. The owner is a westerner who married locally, so you get the best of both worlds - someone who understands the...
