I cannot recommend this place enough: beds are comfy, prices are totally reasonable, food was freshly prepared and delicious, I absolutely recommend the chocolate-making bit as well. The staff are incredibly friendly, the location is really convenient to town, there's a really nice hike nearby, and this is the best place to stay if you want to visit the amazon...

We really enjoyed my wife and I the Yacu Warmi Jungle camp. You immediately become hypnotized by the jungle sounds and the fresh fruits and exotic ingredients which surrounds the camp. Very cool for those who are not afraid of the darkness and the jungle alive at night.

I got to spend a week in Sinchi Warmi building trail, pouring concrete, and learning so much from this community. I cannot stop thinking of how powerful a growing experience it was to work alongside these amazing people. Learn, grow, & be apart of something wonderful. Visit Sinchi Warmi

We really liked our stay at Sinchi Warmi in August. We were almost the only guests there. The area is a little bit out of Misahualli and very quiet and beautiful. Our room was clean. We had dinner twice, which tasted good. One has to be aware that they serve Tilapia which is imported from Africa. Anyhow we would recommend...

My friend and I just traveled to South America and backpacked our way through Columbia, Peru, and Ecuador. Along the way we met a Missionary by the name of Jason Healy. Meeting this man turned out to be one of the best things that could have ever happened to us. We spent time with him in Baños and enjoyed his...

Went to With a school group of about 20 graduate students and professors. In the people are so welcoming and friendly and want you to have a great time. They took us out to pick cacao, taught us how to make different foods and indigenous jewelry, sang and danced, and cooked 3 meals a day all fresh typical foods. We...

I spent four nights at Sinchi Warmi and had an absolutely wonderful time. Sinchi Warmi is a lodge/cabin/restaurant run by a group of indigenous Ecuadorian women, all of whom do a wonderful job welcoming you to their community. I am a single American woman who traveled by myself (though through the Yanapuma Spanish School) to Sinchi Warmi after spending a...

We went to Sinchi Warmi for a two night trip and the lodge definitely exceeded my expectations! It's very fairly priced and the room was comfortable (with a very necessary mosquito net attached to each bed). The staff were very helpful and organized a day tour for us which included a guided hike and visit to an animal sanctuary. Overall...

We stayed a week at Sinchi Warmi Eco Lodge. We loved slowing down and enjoying nature. Don't miss the excellent dinners. Their cooks were trained by European chefs. They have vegetarian dishes and also the local speciality of maito de pollo or maito de pescado (the food has special spices and is wrapped in a special local leaf and grilled)....

We stayed 2 nights at Sinchi Warmi and had a great time. The grounds are beautiful and the women that manage it are very accomodating and informative. The food was delicious also. It is on the rustic side, but was just what we were looking for, lots of birds, flowers, peace and quiet.
