We stayed at anaconda for three days with the family on our way to the galapagos islands. Francisco and his wife Silvia are fantastic hosts. The accomadations are spare but very clean and homey. The meals were absolutely fantastic and blew us away. The tours were fun and challenging and our guide was knowledgeable and funny. I haven't stopped talking...

I stayed there with my girl friend a month ago for three nights, and we both agree it was a unique experience. The owners of the lodge are true nature lovers and have been helping tremendously local indigenous people with their education and land ownership. Not only did we feel very safe and comfortable in the area, but it also...

The Anaconda Lodge is a lodge with a small number of cabanas and a central dining area on the banks of the Napo River. The cabanas are newly-built but quite rustic and simple. The grounds are very nicely planted and lovingly tended by the staff. The food was very good -- the kitchen generally prepares only one menu, but there...

The lodge is a place we're you can meet the kishwa culture. It is not like a museum,a Disney rubbish or a 24hour party place. No, there you can meet a different...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the lodge for 3 nights at the end of October, enjoying the hospitality of owners Francisco and Sylvia. It was quite an educational experience for us, learning about the culture of the local people, the ever-changing landscape of the surrounding area, and conservation efforts on both the environmental and cultural fronts. This is not...

“We stayed in a room with a queen sized bed. It was very spacious, and the top half of the room was screened in which we think made the stay more authentic. As Francisco said, you don't need to listen to music at night as the sounds of the rainforest provided music to our ears!”
