This hotel is located right on the Napo River. You can hear the river from most rooms. Once you arrive, you only leave the hotel by boat to visit the sites and attractions of the Amazon basin. The day trips are great. During our three night stay, we were able to see woolly monkeys, capuchin monkeys, many birds (including a hoatzin)...

Thank you for your beautiful review of our lodge! We love it when we can show our travelers so many new experiences and animals in the jungle. It is also great to hear how our back-to-nature view on the cabins without electricity can make the experience more pure even for an 18-year old! We would love to see you come...

I loved this place The host who met us and showed us around was just fantastic. The food was perfect, all the staff from the bartenders to the guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. The pool and bar/dinning area clean and nice, the cabins are so very cool, what an amazing place, can't say enough good about it. They do...

We had a wonderful stay at Cotochocha. The service was excellent, at the reception, bar, in the restaurant and during the Chocolate making experience at the fireplace of the lounge. The lodge is on the river but not very far into the jungle. It's very easy to be reached with your car or a taxi. The road toward the lodge...

We loved our stay at Cotococha, it was the perfect way to see some of the Amazon rainforest without having to travel too far from Quito. The lodge is beautiful, our room looked right over the Napo river. The staff and guides were friendly and nearly everyone spoke English. We actually really enjoyed the lack of electricity and WiFi, it...

Cotococha is really lovely. I was worried that being so close to the road would be a problem. While it is a different experience from other lodges I have stayed it is still lovely. The vegetarian food was a very pleasant surprise and I was really impressed with the quality and variety. The package was brilliant and we loved Marco...

Very nice place to stay, the cabins are rustic stile but with running water and hot water on the shower. The staff is very helpful, the pool was beautiful, and they helped with our external activities. But beware, this is a lodge not a resort, so don't expect electricity or air conditioning (doesn´t needed because you are next to the...

The lodge is fantastic, it really allows you disconnect with only oil lamps at night and no electricity in the cabanas (only in main lodge).
