I stayed here for two nights. The tents were fantastic, with large window and front door flaps to allow for plenty of light. The showers also proved warm water, which was great for cooler mornings. The staff placed a heated water bottle on the beds...More
What an incredible place. Serene, quite and calm. First place in Tanzania with great customer service. The tented rooms are incredible, cosy and confortable. Good showers and facilities all around. Coming back in 4 days after my safari. Cant wait for it!
The location is beautiful, overlooking a valley. The tented cabins were quite nice. It was cold at night and they provided each person with a hot water bottle which kept me warm all night. Both dinner and breakfast were quite good -- but there is...More

Hi January was OK. Keep in mind the lodge is not that close to the crater gate and serengeti. It takes a couple of hours to get to the crater so we opted for a camp on the rim, more expensive but worth the money in my opinion. We stayed at Rhotia to support their project but 3 nights were too long. There is not a lot to do there. Hope this helps.
