I visited Gibb's farm in 1998. I recall it being a beautiful place surrounded by nature and staffed by extremely friendly Tanzanians. Except the ownership of the farm, nothing has changed. I wish i had more time to spend there.

Beautiful lodge with individual cottages. Cottages were large and very private with ours having an Indoor and outdoor shower, private verandahs. Food was great (we have dietary restrictions which they gladly accommodated). With our wakeup call came tea and coffee served in our room. Many activities to choose from. We toured the organic garden, and also went on a local...

Stayed for the night at Gibbs Farm after long safari in the Serengeti and prior to our transfer to Zanzibar for a beach stay. The hotel has a very nice setting looking over the valley, but access is down a long bumpy drive down a back road. The bedrooms are very spacious with a nice homely feel; the furniture is...

Wow...first impressions were out of this world! Shown to our room and then around the property by our own guide. The room was stunning...balcony overlooking the coffee plantation, massive room, huge comfy beds and a most amazing bathroom including a stunning outside shower. The property is beautiful. We didn't have long enough for all the activities but walked around the...

This trip was planned through Africa Travel Resources, who we can highly recommend. The setting was beautiful, the staff was great, we loved our rooms and the food and bar were excellent. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed with large bathrooms and private outdoor showers as well. Our two rooms had a huge living area in the middle and we...

We enjoyed our lovely room, the delicious meals and the many activities offered by the lodge. Particular highlights for us included learning how to roast coffee, and a walk to a nearby village where we had the opportunity to meet local people and tour the school. We also enjoyed hearing the village choir sing, watching birds and sitting in the...

Beautiful scenery, beautiful and luxurious accommodations. Every staff person was eager to please. We appreciated the extra attention for dinner seating because of being on our honeymoon...just an added touch! Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Just can't say enough.

Had an amazing adventure with old friends on Safari. Stayed at Gibbs and had a blast. Food was great, service exceptional and accommodations, particularly the bathtub and outdoor shower, rocked!! Enjoyed the artisans at work and local coffee was good as well. Would recommend to anyone traveling to this part of the world.

We wished we had booked a week here. The cabins are spacious and private, set in the lush tropical garden. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view out over the vegetable gardens. The staff was great; so was the food. A local choir sang an evening concert. Sundowners on the patio is climaxed by the feeding of the...
