We were one of the early guests of this newly opened resort on the outskirts of Kumbakonam, otherwise known as a temple city. The cottages are well maintained by highly courteous staff who provide excellent service round the clock. This is a great place to...More

The Pannaiyar Illam is a bangalow. About 6 to 8 people could stay. I think there are about 3 rooms. The cottage is a a room with attached bathroom. 3 of stayed here. A double bed and an extra mattress. I am not too sure about the mantra illam. There full when we were there so they couldn't show us. Be bit care about the Pannaiyar illam they a bit musty due to rare use I think especially during the wet season.
