Extremely welcoming, very comfortable accommodation, breakfast perfect for us, including gluten-free options. The views of the Amberley Wildbrooks are stunning and there is very easy access to the South Downs Way from the village.

My son and i wanted to cycle the South Downs Way in 2 days and Amberley was the half way point. Woodybanks was the perfect half way stop off, although we arrived later than expected! However, Jackie and Graham Hardy were wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent. They...

I went to Woodybanks with my sister who has stayed there many times before. Just parking the car I was struck by the view over the water meadows which is stunning. We had a lovely welcome from Jackie and Graham and had tea and cake in the sitting room. I had the double room which is very comfortable and my...

I've stayed at Woodybanks several times - once with an elderly friend who made good use of the stairlift. The bedrooms are chintzy and comfortable and it's great to have your own sitting room. There are various seats around the garden where you can enjoy the wonderful view. Graham and Jackie are very welcoming and cater for your every need....

Upon inquiring about this B&B Jackie explained fully that there was a twin and a double room with a bathroom along the landing. Because of this she recommended that it was more suitable to a family that might take both rooms, friends who were happy with the arrangement, or a single or couple who could have either room. I completely...

Stayed at Woodybanks whilst walking the South Downs Way with a friend. We arrived at Woodybanks to be greeted by Graham and Jackie who gave us a welcome cool drink before showing us to our rooms. My room was a twin with a double aspect view over the garden and water meadows below. The room is small but the bed...

We were walking the South Downs Way and arrived to a very welcoming reception from lovely hosts. Cold drink and quick chat and up to our rooms which overlook the water meadows. Very clean and tidy but traditional slightly chintzy rooms. Shared bathroom nice and clean. Brilliant pub next door - The Sportsman - best night's meal in a whole...

This was an overnight stay whilst mountain biking the South Downs Way over 2 days with a friend and Jackie and Graham could not have been more helpful. First of all they were happy for us to leave an overnight bag the day before and collect it two days later. The weather was dry, so we didn't expect to arrive...
