Very pleasant two night stay, room comfortable and clean and being an old building the rooms have character. Good pub food well presented and reasonably priced, staff very welcoming and friendly. Good location for Oxford, Woodstock and many pretty surrounding villages.

Everything was just perfect from the booking, the greet on arrival, the room and the food. The staff on the night were loverly and friendly and nothing too much trouble. The room for was perfect, not what I expected for £60 per night. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at your lovely pub, I will definitely recommend to...

The room is large and comgortable. Clean, well decorated and warm. Large TV with a few satellite channels. Though it wasn't possible to keep the window open, just a minor fix needed there. The bathroom, also large and recently refurbished. Large shower. As reported elsewhere the water pressure is poor but ok for a quick hairwash. No shortage of hot...

We stayed several nights, great staff , nice food, room lovely apart from poor water pressure in large luxury shower cubicle. Very dog friendly too, which is a real bonus for us. Love to stay again. Must sort shower pressure!

Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts - they've recently taken over the pub and clearly have big plans for it for the future. Very comfortable in every respect with the sort of breakfast you need after a wedding. Would recommend it for certain. There are a few small niggles for the owners to work out from the previous landlords but...

We had a two night stay at the Bell Inn, as my partner was taking part in a rally and 4x4 day nearby. We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. The new management have only been there a week and despite obviously being work in progress, they could not do enough for us. The staff were...

location perfect for a peaceful break ,not far to travel from surrey. Room comfortable lovely views, breakfast first class. Nice big garden for children. Good railway links. Good place to explore the Cotswolds we went to Banford and Witney. Staff pleasant and sociable.can't understand the poor reviews, people expect so much but aren't willing to pay for it.

An oddly furnished pub, one of four in a small Oxfordshire village. Despite limited 'real ales' of which there were two, and a choice of other beers and lagers, it was welcoming. The food menu is reasonably expansive, and the quality belies the premises. It is worh a visit if in the area.

I booked a room for 2 nights for my partners birthday get-away. When we arrived I literally had to speak over a group of men at the bar to the barmaid. We were showed to the room (which the lady was inspecting as she showed us in) was advised food times and that was that. The room was nice but...

Got married on Friday 5th August and went on a 'mini-moon', as well as my wife's 40th birthday present, to Wilderness festival. Booked the room in January/February 2016 and confirmed via phone, providing card details to secure the booking. Also had email confirmation of booking. Turned up to be told they didn't have our booking and they could give us...
