A quaint hotel located in the near vicinity of Copenhagen airport which offers an out of the ordinary overnight experience than what one is used to. Guests who expect luxury must look elsewhere since this hotel used to be an old fort that housed young soldiers during the war. The bar also serves as the reception so do not expect...

The rooms are tired (not your 5 star experience); but, we had an amazing stay in an old fort. It is very casual and friendly. With a small town center and boat harbor within a 10 minute walk, there was also some nice places to eat and have a drink overlooking the ocean. Our stay was an overnight between flights...

We stayed 3 nights at this WW1 Fort, the rooms are big and appealed to us.The hotel may not have the facilities of modern hotels, but has an interesting and friendly atmosphere and staff. You can bring your dog and there is a resident Fort Dog. The roof is covered with grass and traces of the installations from the ww1...

I would not recommend the place. Too expensive for what we get! The instalation no longer compliant and the rooms are antiquated. The piping are completely damaged and it was raining in the room (ground full a water on 2 meter square, we could not walked without having foot completly wet)!!! The owner is apparently aware of it since long...

An old WWI Era fortress. Big rooms can explore the interior and Vista the abandoned gun emplacements on the top facing the sea. A one of a kind experience I'd recommend. Nice people who were very accommodating.

This is a ww1 fort and a quirky experience. Good: location 5km from the airport, beautiful views of the bridge and town from the roof (gun emplacements! Told you it was quirky), the room slept 19 soldiers when it was live and so was massive with a double and 2 single beds, the bedroom, bathrooms and other areas are nicely...

What a find! This great place is a genuine fortifiacation for the city of Copenhagen, just bursting with historical artifacts. The room I had was large, immaculate with the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long while. Huge clean shower room was a little basic, but in order to keep the place original, it was definitely in keeping....

I loved this hotel! From the top of the hotel you have a great view of the bridge linking Denmark and Sweden, the location is close to the Copenhagen Airport, the rooms large and airy and the owner is fabulous. He gave us free drinks at night and proved to be a great conversationalist in English. A very pleasant personality,...

Clean, simple rooms are some of the biggest in Europe! New bathrooms, and small touches such as slippers, make this a great value. Walk through a fort/war era museum to get to your room, and don't miss walking on the ramparts to see the view of the Oresund Bridge!

We came across this hotel only days before we arrived. We could not find a hotel in Copenhagen with vacancy, but by e-mail we were told they had availability in their 7 rooms. I I have to admit, my expectations were low. Even lower when the taxi driver had no idea where it was, but what a great find! Remember...
