I read in one of their brochures that this resort had transitioned from a backpackers to a 4 star (I think?) resort. We were there last year on the recommendation of friends and got a special rate of $200/night from wotif.com. I would definitely recommend it at this rate. The standard room rate at that time, however, was around $450/night...

If you're looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, this is a great place. The things in the negative review written below are mostly true for our visit as well, but if you can switch over to the Fijian relaxed way of life, they don't bother you so much. If you're looking for a resort where you can pretend you're still...

We went on our honeymoon for 7 nights. It was awesome. It is very secluded and not much to do in the area. But that was what we wanted.. If you rent a car from Hertz they deliver it to you and don't charge you per/KM. So we did that the last 4 days. Which was fun cause there is...

We weren't sure what to expect after the extremely long and bumpy journey from the airport but as soon as we arrived we were made very welcome, given a nice coconut drink and shown to our rooms. We went for my sisters wedding - and the staff we amazing. The pool, gardens and beach were perfect and the staff couldn't...

A group of 4 of us were booked in to stay for 6 nights at the Wellesley . We were picked up from the airport and had a satisfactory check in. The room was good with a very comfortable bed and basic bathroom and the resort was nestled into a valley which was stunning. However, the next day it started...

This resort was a real disappointment. We knew that it would be isolated as most of the reviews stated so, however we didn't realise that we would be isolated and stuck with a poor service, poor cleanliness, a poor menu and poor maintenance. The biggest let down was the food. The menu was inconsistent and the food was really terrible...

I don't know why people are complaining about the isolation of the place, just do some research on the net about the resort, and yes you can hire a car if you want to,but don't complain if you have to use their services, you don't get free rides anywhere and don't expect to as well, after all it's their livelihood. It...

GOOD: Close to beach and good size room if you go for Imperial Suite. The Fijians are lovely people. BAD: Where do I begin? I have no idea how this resort has 4 stars. The resort is 4km's away from the main road, down a 'road' which is a hilly dirt track. The resort charges $10 each way to drop...

Stayed here for 4 nights in July. Very clean and tidy rooms. The resort is quite a drive from Nadi, around 2 hours. Perfect for a completely relaxing stay where you do nothing but read a book!! The good: Very quiet and isolated location Excellent beach, much better than crusoes further down the beach Nice snorkelling, crystal clear water Nice...

This resort could be wonderful but has too many short falls. The restaurant produces far from restaurant quality food, often making substitutions without even advising you. The meats were always dry and tough - we ended up walking 10 minutes down the beach to dine at the neighbouring resort. We witnessed many meals going back, including our own and the...
