We've dropped in by the Cluanie a few times over the years but never actually stayed until this time. We received the most friendly and warm of welcomes at reception and a key to our room on the ground floor. The room was beautiful. Decorated to a really high standard with super comfy bed, high quality linens and a lovely...

Stayed at the Cluanie for 4 days while we walked in the hills that surround its spectacular location. Were delighted with our room - spacious, comfortable, two chairs and lots of cupboard space. The two beers from Loch Ness brewery were lovely, and food was generously proportioned, tasty and served quickly - perfect if you've come back from a long...

After mixed reviews and worried that this was just a pub with a few rooms above I was really pleasantly surprised ... Fantastic we had a very clean and well appointed room with 4 poster bed... There were staff constantly cleaning the common areas.. Residents lounge was available ... Fantastic views even with deer right outside the window !!! I...

With probably the friendliest staff you're likely to come across this classic Highland hotel sits in a stunning location with great access to the surrounding mountains and is handily placed for a stopover on the way to or from Skye. We had Room 1 with the sauna and 4-poster bed. It was great for relaxing after a day in the...

Lovely inn with a bit of history and a very good location for trips to Skye. The room was spacious with a four poster bed and en suite with jacuzzi bath. The menu was really good with gluten free and vegetarian choices. This inn was very popular and the food which was served most of the day was excellent, my...

£120 a night for a room for 2 people, one would expect something fairly decent. Being in such a stunning glen, I had hoped for views up to the mountains but this was not to be. The room faced some outdoor sheds, the inner courtyard around which all the rooms seemed to centre was a junkyard with building materials, overgrown...

Stayed with 3 friends for a hill walking weekend. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Furniture was all new. Staff were pleasant and helpful and interested in chatting about our day. We arrived back from the hill too late for the restaurant, we were offered soup or casserole from the kitchen which were delicious and well needed after a...

We stayed for two nights so we could have a day in Skye before heading down to Mull. Loved the hills and the remoteness - looks like lots of great walking if we had more time. The inn had a rustic charm - not upmarket, but a relaxed ambience. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom, which was fine...

The little Inn is in the centre of a picturesque valley in the Northwest Highlands. The dining room is casual, clean and attractive. Service was friendly and quick. Our party had lasagna, fish & chips and the steak and ale pie. I found the pie to be very dry and overly salted. My son couldn't eat the lasagna as the...
