At Le Moulin des Artistes our small simple room with good double glazing helps to keep out the traffic noise from the busy road over the bridge. This renovated mill feels strangely modern. Pleasant riverside garden was battered by the Mistral so despite the glorious sunshine it remained empty. We are well looked after with a rather expensive evening meal;...

The rooms are quite small, but they are clean and quiet. We did not try the restaurant, but it looks like being ok. Overall, my sense was one of decay, not because of the overall state of the hotel -which is good- but because of the design. This is naturally very personal, but neon lights in the shower, grey painting...

Although at first glance this hotel may appear attractive and modern, it is only a veneer. The staff treated us with very poor regard. It seemed as if the rude treatment was because we were Canadian, as if we were low-brow and not worthy of a night's stay. We would have left, however there were no other vacancies left in...

We accidentaly discovered there was a huge Roman auqeduct bridge in this area: Pont du Gard. We were on a 1500 km trip from Holland to Barcelona Spain. This area was a good stopping place and we just pointed a finger on the map, to get to Remoulins village. We actually stopped at a gite at the other end of...

The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. We had a room facing a bridge and we could hear the cars passing by. But at night, it's perfectly quiet. This is one of the best places to stay when you're off to see the Pont du Gard (about 2kms away) and decide to stay for the night. There is...

In this case I would really advise the owner to spend a couple of nights in his own hotel rooms. because it is very easy to find out what is not working. Like the electricity in the bathroom, something somebody here on trip advisor mentioned last june in a review. We probably had the same room and it still is...

The moulin is first of all a restaurant, and an nice one. The hotel rooms have a modern sparce feel to them, good TV, very basic beds, and mattresses are uncomfortable. Aircon in some areas of the hotel but in the room it did not work and was just a fan. This is a typical old building for the area...

Stayed at this hotel one night on our drive through France. Terrible room, very small, dark and dingy. Is rated at three stars, one star would be more like it. Staff friendly and helpful, food OK, but the room! Stay away from this hotel, it's a shocker.

We stayed here for1 night. Our room was a good enough size but there was only 1 small window with shutters that could not be secured open. That left our room very dark all day. Leaving shutters open to get light into the room resulted in a lot of loud bangs as the wind slammed them shut. I wouldn't have...
