This is a little gem of a place, it is run by Alan and his mum, situated on the sea front we had a room overlooking the sea. I have never stayed in such a clean place, it was spotless, the decor and comfort were first class, the little touches, fresh flowers in the room were a bonus. The rooms...

We stayed for 4 nights at Beachgate, the room in the first floor had a beautiful view on the beach and was really in a good shape. Also breakfast was rich and tasty. A small minus for the poor and narrow parking possibilities, but all in all a recommendation.

We stayed in the 'Beachgate Guest House' for one night. Our host, Allan, was very attentive and this provided therefore the very basis for our well-being. Our bedroom was very comfy, the facilities provided were pretty good as well, and the breakfast met my expectations. Despite the rather higher pricing, I can absolutely recommend this lovelly B&B.

The breakfast was very tasty, with many different options on offer and we were well looked after. Alan and his mum were very friendly and hospitable, and were fine with us returning to the guest house late at...

Alan and his sweet mother Margaret gave us a very hospitable welcome in their top-quality guest house, right on the beach of Stonehaven. We enjoyed amazing views of the Stonehaven bay from our room, and the breakfast was among the best that we ever had in two decades of traveling in Great Britain.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Stonehaven and at the Beachgate. The breakfast is great, the room was spotless, the town was amazing. We were able to order our breakfast the morning of, which was nice since I never know my mood till the morning. This was one of our two favorite spots on our trip.

This B&B is the best. Alan and Margaret were really helpful in advice about the area and Aberdeen. I bit of luxury especially as we had been travelling quite a bit around the UK. Stonehaven is a lovely place to visit and relax a bit. If you are in the area it is the place to stay.
