The nature is majestic. And it's not easy to maintain a place in Amazon Forest. So, some parts of the hotel seems like abandoned. But this helps to give the place a special charm. Nice place to hear jungle noises!

After an enjoyable boat ride to the hotel, and swimming with the pink dolphins (amazing experience), had a wonderful day exploring some of the 8kms of walkways through the jungle seeing different types of monkeys and birds. Lunch was a typical Brazilian buffet but not the best we've ever had. Pool was small and old. Had a tour of some... More

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We are very gratified that you were able to share some amazing experiences at Ariau with your children. Swimming with the pink dolphins is something that I am sure they will remember for the rest of their lives not to mention the many monkeys and birds you can see along the walkways... More

I would like to mention that I have been to Ariau several times. And each time I had an amazing experience. The staff were always super kind to me, and I always had special holidays there. To see the macaws flying in the sky, the sloths climbing the trees and the spider monkeys walking very close were the best experiences... More

There is nothing like waking up in the morning to the sounds of the Amazon! That is one thing that I will never forget from my experience at Ariau. My husband and I utilized our time to the max. Went piranha fishing, swam with pink dolphins, experienced a small local Indian tribe's ceremonies and did a survival training that really... More

My kids and I have just returned from our trip to the Amazon and our visit to the Ariau Towers. We heard about the high water situation, but everything seemed to have already resolved before we arrived. The kids were thrilled with our Tarzan House and our guide Mike could not have been more informative and fun. All the main... More

It s a very expensive hotel, in the middle of the forest. Sheets were dirty, Most of the activities are charged in addition to the regular price and there is no reward for the nature as research or environmental projects that this hotel could certainly develop considering its profits from nature use. Otherwise, the hotel guidance is very thoughtful.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Ariau Amazon Towers. Sheets are changed daily in every room at Ariau so we think you might have mistaken the color of the sheets which are beige at Ariau for something unclean. The color was chosen to compliment the rustic ambiance. I am sure if you had brought your... More

This place would have to be the ultimate trip on the Amazon. Don't expect 5 star service, but that is not what its meant to be. You get welcomed on arrival and shown to your room. Do not leave the door open for too long as the cheeky monkeys will invade the room and destroy it. Everything is built over... More

We stayed here whilst on a tour of The Amazon. The hotel is very good for a semi back to basics feel. When you arrive you are allocated with a guide and your tours for your stay, we arrived in the morning and were told we would meet our guide at Lunch. Lunch here is included in the price you... Let's remember, we're in the Amazon Rainforest. If you want rustic and interaction with nature then this could be your place. If you want luxury, stay away. The resort was mostly flooded during my stay, which I understand they can't help, and it left much of the resort with an unpleasant smell. The rooms, like I said, rustic, even if... More

Thank you for your review. To clarify -- every year the Amazon River (and Negro & Solimoes Rivers) that make up the Amazon Basin can rise up to 30 feet or sometimes even higher. This natural phenomenon is due to the melting snow coming down from the Andes in Peru and flowing into the Amazon where the river begins. When... More

This resort is in the middle of the Amazon rain forest and teeming with wildlife. We like nature, but we also like luxury. This didn't cut it on the luxury part even though we got the most expensive room, the shower was heated by bare electric wires in the flow of the water. The stairs a bit rickety. There were... More
