I like to find the positive in every place I stay, but that was not the case here. The annex we stayed in, if the rooms are all the same, should be gutted and upgraded. One of those places where sleeping in the car would have been a better choice. Major Major updating needed.

I like to find positives wherever I go but this Motel needs to have a major upgrade for the prices they are charging per night,$109.00 plus taxes....as we were arriving late we called ahead to ask if it was ok...owner said it was,and we held our room with a cc, but upon arriving found our room was given away. He... More

Evening started perfectly..lovely setting..clean room..great view. HOWEVER... At about 10pm partying started around us..in rooms and then parking lot..continued all night..drunkness, drugs, yelling, threats to set things on fire, and more. After several calls to office pleading for owner to do something the OPPolice came once and left. Party still continuing when we snuck away at 5am. Asked owner to... More

Very nice rooms for our needs. Could use some TLC but overall very nice. Being on the river makes a great view as well as fishing out your back door. Great restaurant right across the street, close to park with a boardwalk along the river.

I really hate to write a negative review but this is one of the very few times I feel strongly enough to do so. This could possibly be the worst motel experience I've ever had. Like other reviewers I was fooled by what is a lovely view of the lake from the rear of this motel. However the rooms can... More

The view of the lake is spectacular, unless you are in the upper level end room you will not see this unless outside. We had a river view room that other travellers were raving about and after being there am wondering what the raving was about. You are at the mouth of the river as it enters the lake and... More

The Motel is very nice and clean well laid out . The rooms were very clean with all the amenities necessary fro an over night stay. However I thought it was a little over priced at $100 a night per couple with no continental Breakfast.

Well my wife likes hotels that are not the high end hotels. Checked into the room smelled old room wasn't that bad we were on the river side. It had a large area to walk on and the beach was clean overlooking lake Huron . It was 85 .00 a night my wife and I could have done better she... More

Would recommend a Double Queen room. It was spacious and adequate for our needs. Not a 5 star but it was comfy. We had a smaller room last year with 1 bed and it was really small. Owners are friendly and nice and the 17 restaurant is across the street! :) The property is nice, right on the lake and... More

No doubt about it, this place is solid 2-Star. Nothing special or fancy, and certainly not a resort. But the place was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I had "River View" and the water spilling over the rocks made an amazing sound, drowning out any chance of hearing highway noise. The place had to warm up a bit when... More
