This is a gem of a hotel in such a small little town! The hotel is a minute walk from the plaza, it's very clean and the beds were very comfortable - not what I was expecting from a small town. The staff were friendly and service was very good.

I wrote many reviews and I have never been given the lowest score and this hotel deserve it all. Room nice but bloody freezing and the electric radiator given was simply useless considering that u are forced to have a cold shower. Yeah, u read it right, cold shower. That's because I have been told that when the water is...

What a beautiful little town. Small town atmosphere. Hotel is 2 seconds off the main square. And around the corner from the local markets. Newly renovated hotel, so all other bad reviews can be ignored. This hotel is lovely. Comfortable lobby. Wifi is only available here and it's poor. Fine for email and whatsapp but don't try download too much....

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. Yes the hotel was a little cold... but you're in Peru and it's cold outside! We all had a little heater in our bedrooms which after an hour had the room at t-shirt temperature. Yes there wasn't loads of hot water... but the hotel was completley full of 2 G...

Part of a G Adventures trip... Can you sense a trend? I can, G Adventures clearly try and support smaller independent hotels which I appreciate, however starting here really pushed the boundaries too far! Firstly, the whole place is ice cold (some poor guests without heaters had frozen waters). Secondly, it's still a building site (see reviews from August the...

Stayed here with our travel group (G adventure Andean discovery) for two nights and it was great. We were both ill (altitude sickness) but I could not have timed it better since it was not an issue to spend the day in these beds. The showers were great. Only a very basic breakfast (as in all Peru)

I went to this hotel as part of a tour group. At the time in late september the site was a building site with no demarcation between the building work and guests. I had a ground floor room due to a sprained ankle and was in a cast with crutches I didn't feel very safe! The accomodation in the rooms...

This hotel, although small had beautiful rooms, with comfortable beds and all amenities. Being in the centre of the town, it was very easy to come in and out of hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and keep you warm.

This is not really a hotel, it's too basic. Our room was tiny, a light did not work. The shower was awful. Breakfast was basic. Whatever you do, avoid room 09. It's terrible. Did not enjoy staying here although it was very close to main square. Avoid if you can.

I stayed here as part of a tour group on our way to Colca Canyon. It is a lovely little guesthouse barely two minutes walk from Plaza de Armas in Chivay. Very low key and quiet. The beds are really comfortable. It was perfect for sleeping off the effects of altitude sickness and I was fully refreshed for the early...
