We returned to the Borgo for a family holiday. We last visited in 2009. We stayed in Apartment 23 which has a large 1st floor terrace. The apartment was spacious and clean. It had recently been redecorated. The grounds are stunning and offer a relaxing haven in the Tuscany countryside. The Borgo is family friendly. Our daughters aged 13 and...

We arrived past 23:00 and had to search a lot for the hotel because both my BMW and Google Maps indicated a different location. I called the hotel to check and even tho they were very friendly they gave me wrong information (just follow Google Maps) because we ended up in the miffed of nowhere. And there was no signing...

Perfect for a true getaway. Great for families with young children. They also host events (weddings etc>0. The Enoteca was great. My only warning is that to get to this resort, you must rent a car and drive up a windy hill. It's up a very high mountain (takes about 15 min). It's secluded but the grounds are gorgeous. Must...

We had a fantastic relaxing weeks break in this perfect Tuscan hideaway Great location for accessing all the main attractions. Spacious apartment with patio area to eat outside, very close to the restaurant which some might find irritating as they have weddings on Saturday nights but the noise was over by midnight and did not bother us, however many other...

We stayed here for two nights with our 19 month old daughter. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bed apartment on the first floor. It was spacious and clean. There are some ground floor apartments which are better as they open out onto the grass/patios to let you eat or have breakfast outside. The...

We spent a week here in July with our 2 kids (7 & 10). The hotel lies on a top of a hill with in a picturesque area of Tuscany. Sitting outside and looking over the Tuscanian countryside is priceless. In general we had a pleasant stay here but there are some remarks to be mentioned: - The suite we...

The Borgo offers good rooms, great outdoors with two ample sized pools, as well as great food - even if a bit more expensive than the restaurants down in Palaia. Perfect staff, always helpful and polite. Even a freee outdoor opera concert performed one of the nights. Enough sun beds at the pools too. Parkin sometimes a bit tricky, mainly...

A lovely resort with two swimming pools, a restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, helpful and attentive receptionists who are willing to help with anything you need. When you arrive at the resort, you get checked in and your luggage is put onto a golf cart. One of the receptionists will then drive you and your luggage to your...
