Highly recommend - quiet, peaceful Tuscan countryside. Returned with our 10 year old daughter and had another wonderful time! The bliss of waking up to beautiful countryside with the sun & heat! Fresh breads delivered each morning and just 5 mins drive to local village with lots of lovely restaurants. Il Pettirosso, Bacciomeo, etc. etc. Went to both at least...

Fantastic accommodation especially if you have young children. No food service provided but a bakery delivery comes each morning. The town is not far away (driving) and has some very good restaurants for dining. Chances are you will be out exploring through the day and Tuscany is full of good eating places, season dependent. The hotel room we had was...

My wife and I stayed in the 'Il Torchio' apartment and we had a fantastic stay. The central location is really good for visiting cities such as Pisa, Florence, Luca and Sienna, as well as for exploring the local Tuscany landscape and villages. You do need a car to get around but the roads are generally well maintained and easy...

We have been travelling all over Italy for years and almost all the time we stayed in agriturismo's. This year it was our first holiday with our 1 year old daughter, so we tried to find an agriturismo suited for a family. We eventually found Podere La Casa and I can tell you, this is the place you want to...

Spent the first week in July 2013 at this podere with family, incl 2 boys under 7. Hard to fault it. Apartments are really nicely appointed, more to villa standard than agriturismo. Really good pool area for adults and kids, swings, slides etc., bbq area and enclosed gardens, so no fear of kids getting lost or into trouble. Palaia is...

The location is perfect for family holidays, sports and cultural activities: - our kids of 5 and 8 had plenty of space to run around, to swim, to play football and table tennis etc etc; - the Palaia area is fantastic for...

The estate is very well kept and has very beautiful appartments. They are very clean and complete. With beamed ceilings and a Toscany interior, it feld like ultimited luxury. It was a...

Travelled as couple with a 4 year old little lady. We loved the place, the views were wonderful, just what you'd expect in Tuscany. The sunsets were stunning! Lovely pool with a view! Could not fault our accommodation.Owners on site but only visible if needed. Cingalle and owls are to be heard at night! Very short but extremely windy, hilly...

I have been few times in this agriturismo located near Palaia, close to historical cities like Volterra and Pisa. There are few apartments fully furbished and selfcontained. Each apartment has its own style with a private patio. You can really feel being at home. I suggest you to try "Il Torchio" where I have been twice so far. The atmosphere...
