We booked 5 nights B&B at Talbot House having read other folks favourable reviews on TripAdvisor -- we weren't disappointed. Our room on the first floor was clean and comfortable, especially the Super King size bed! Choices at breakfast were extensive and it would have been easy to forgo sightseeing and stay for lunch and afternoon tea!! Sisters Jill and...

We visited the tea room at Talbot House as part of our spring-bank holiday and were met with a very warm welcome. The drinks menu is large and very reasonably priced, and the cakes are wonderful. Pateley Bridge has many tea rooms but I would thoroughly recommend this one.

A lovely find in Pateley Bridge. The service was perfect, a few tweaks to one of our lunches was happily accommodated. We had lunch for 4. It was fabulous. Proper ham in the sandwiches, a super jacket potato, with plenty of filling, and toasties. The cakes looked divine with some twists on the usually selection but we were too full...

The service we received was really good and the food was excellent and really good value for money, We had to try the Victoria sponge from the array of cakes and scones...

Talbot House is idealy placed for cyclists attempting the way of the roses ride. This BnB is situated in the heart of Pately Bridge and has secure storage for the bikes overnight. Me and 10 other guys were welcomed warmly by the 2 elderly women running the place and nothing was a bother to them. The bedrooms were clean and tidy...

So good for lunch that we went back later for tea and cakes! Such a friendly, helpful welcome. Great home made food ... we sampled soups and later cakes - try the cheese cake! We didn't test the accommodation, but if it's half as good as the tea rooms then you're in for a treat! PS Owners/managers ... you should...
