we arrived around 3.30 on Saturday afternoon to a stunning looking hotel overlooking great views. Once we checked in we made our way down to our afternoon tea which was great and plentiful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable the morning breakfast was absolutely beautiful full English breakfast. Would like to thank the really good hardworking staff...

Stayed here for two nights (Sat/Sun) in October. Despite phoning prior to booking online to request a dog-friendly room and putting a note of this in our booking the receptionist had to change our room because this info still hadn't filtered through. Luckily they had availability. Our room was spacious and clean. However only one side of the bed had...

This hotel was very popular for many years with locals as the venue for parties and dinners. Sadly it was closed to the public for many years. It is now reopened and is welcoming tourists and locals again who are pleased to see it reopened. The tearooms and restaurants does good food including tearoom specialties and an excellent value home...

Not fabulously luxurious but comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptionally pleasant. Food was good, and a cream tea from the tearoom was quite something. Dog was welcome. Located adjacent to Tissington Trail. The booking agent made no mention of the availability of evening meals and gave us an incorrect postcode.

Freezing outside so we were glad the hotel was lovely and warm. Our room had a lovely view over the garden and Tissington Trail. The bed was massive and very comfortable, the curtains were dark so we slept very well. We had a three course evening meal which was excellent - all 6 dishes were yummy. Breakfast was just as...

Pleasant staff, clean room and good food what you would expect from a reasonably priced hotel. The staff were very helpful. The room at the front of the hotel was not overly noisy. We ate dinner on two nights, not a huge choice but freshly cooked and very tasty. Breakfast was also really good.

We first came across this hotel accidentally, we were cycling on the Tissington trail and noticed the tea rooms. There were 4 of us gasping for a cuppa. We were all impressed with the staff hospitality. My husband booked two nights as a surprise for me. Pleasant staff. Good comfortable room. Whilst the menu is restricted the food was well...

Not worth the price. They are too close to a busy road. They can not be found on normal GPS and even on smart phones as their post code is not recognised by devices. Not helpful at all when you call them and say you can not find them.

We stayed for one night. We have stayed here before but it's now been done up and is much better. Very friendly, excellent bar, beautiful breakfast. Personally we think some of the reviews are a little unfair. We will definitely be back.
