Enjoyed one night here after a days walking around Edale. Rooms are clean and warm. The bathroom is shared between three rooms. However it was clean and well stocked with toiletries. The owners were welcoming and made us instantly at home! Breakfast was a casual affair with plenty of tasty selection. Will definitely stay again

This is such a welcoming and interesting place to stay. We've stayed here as five women and I have stayed with my young daughter. The place is full of character, including plenty of walking books. Breakfasts are delicious and the owners were happy for us to leave our bags in the house on the day we left as we had...

I arrived yesterday with such a lovely warm welcome, the lady came to the door with such a lovely warm hello, I was instantly relaxed, so before I tell you about the place I want to explain getting there, I called them up to ask how to find it and was given instructions, however as I'd visited Edale before so...

Three nights in this creaky barn conversion. Small room, but warm and comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Very hospitable hosts, and great breakfasts cooked to order only. Packed lunches good too! Not much in the way of soundproofing; thin doors, echoey landing and old wooden stairs. Fridge in the room was useful. Plenty of walks from the door including Mam Tor. Two...

Sometimes a B&B only needs to be that. One doesn't expect an abundance of space - just warmth and comfort. The attraction here is clearly outside. That is where the space is and it is likely that you will have had enough by the time you flip at the end of the day. This is very much a "home from...

I staggered into Ollerbrook Barn filthy and exhausted after completing a north-south Pennine Way and could not have received a more friendly, kind and sympathetic welcome. Theresa brushed off my concerns about mud and sheep poo all over her bathmats, rugs, etc, saying this was completely normal and they'd all just go in the machine. For what I thought was...

We had a very relaxing stay in this cosy and charming barn just 10 mins walk from the top of Edale village. Beautiful scenery all around, rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely and I think pretty much every need is catered for. I have to thank Mark and Teresa for making our stay comfortable and for the small...

A good base to start the Pennine Way. The host was very helpful. The room was fine, the bathroom was well appointed, the shower worked well, the Wifi was acceptable. Breakfast was good. The property was within reasonable walking distance of the Edale village for an evening meal. If you are arriving by train, with a suitcase and backpack, then...

The Stable Bunkhouse is an ideal place to stay for the start of the Pennine Way walk at only £22.50 per person. A group of four of us stayed in one of the rooms ( several rooms available in the same location ) before we started the trek. The bunkbeds were hard but comfortable and either a duvet or sleeping...

“The Ollerbrook Suite is where we stayed, and highly recommended. (Not sure about the other rooms, but as this is one of the 2 en suite rooms it was a no brainer.)”
