On the occasion of turning 55, checked into the Losehill House for an afternoon and evening of indulgent treat. Spent the afternoon in the pool/sauna/hot tub, which we had nearly to ourselves, enjoying the Peak DIstrict views and the excellent facilities. Our deal included the basic 'Taste of the Peaks' menu, however we decided to upgrade to the 7 course...

A neighbour recommended this hotel for special occasion dining and I came with my husband for my birthday. I can honestly say this is one of very few restaurants in the Peak District that offers elegant surroundings, friendly service and first rate food. The food is modern and the portions correspondingly on the smaller side, but beautifully presented and delicious....

We had a recent 4 day stay at Losehill House. Slightly disappointed at the standard of the hotel as it is in need of a refresh. Reception area slightly chaotic as there is a mix of guests, spa day visitors, spa staff and reception staff in a tiny area. This needs re-organisation by the management. However, the staff were great....

Been here 3 times before and food is very good and dining room overlooks great views. Food very good although service a little slow. Dining experience for me has been spoiled by the addition of a £4 charge for a cup of tea /coffee after you have spent £39 for a meal! I know that petit fours are included but...

Our room 9 was fantastic with a huge bed, a dressing room with luxury bathroom products. It was so clean with lots of teas, coffee & biscuits plus free water. We also had 2 dressing gowns with free slippers supplied for the Spa. We had a swim, sauna, steam and a dip in the outside sauna which was brilliant. On arrival...

We had a fantastic couple of days at Losehill. Set in the quiet Hope/Edale valley of the peak district, this is a lovely spa hotel. It's well set up and isn't overly pretentious - down to earth, friendly and just the right level of luxury. Highlights? The food was amazing. What could they do better? The staff were very helpful...

The second time I have visited with a third visit planned. I love this place particularly for the views and the food, the seven course taster menu is a must!If you are looking for the 'full spa experience' check out the facilities online as they are limited.

Had an overnight stay dbb to celebrate my birthday. Very enjoyable. We used the pool and hot tub but these can become a little over crowded but I loved my swim before breakfast (7am). We opted for the table de hote menu as opposed to the tasting menu and everything was tasty and well presented. Service wasn't rushed but wasn't...

We have been to the Losehill hotel on a seven course taster menu plus a one night stay. We thought the room was really clean and modern, with a great view of the valley. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft pillows and very clean and crisp cotton sheets (great). When stay again at the Losehill House Hotel We...
