Hotel Krabban is a B&B hotel. The reception is closed in the evening and until 7 am. Our room was basic but had enough space. The mattress was comfortable and we slept well Some rooms have a common toilet / bath in the corridor, but we ordered a room with private toilet and bath. The bath had a shower and a basin. The shower was a mixed type (overhead shower and a handheld shower). I never managed to have the square overhead shower work, so I assume the water-switch need to be replaced. There is a TV and a closet in the room. There is no safety box or a fridge. The breakfast was simple but with fresh bread, ham, cheese, salami and juice or coffee I think most people would be ready for the new day. The location is ideal, but there might be a little bit difficult to find parking directly outside the hotel entrance.…
Lovely Lovely Lovely. The hotel is super cosy and is feared priced. This is definatly the hotel to stay in if you are going to Stromstad and not looking for a spa hotel, but a more cosy feeling. Rooms are a bit old, but they're fine and comfy. Restaurant is cosy and Breakfast is great. The hotel has a great location in the middel of the small city.
Clean and decent rooms. Very expensive for a B&B-room without en suite. The bathrooms could need an update. Very central location and nice staff. Acceptable breakfast. Not too exciting but not terrible B&B. If you need some where to stay in Strömstad, you could do worse.
Even though it is a B&B, they charge you as a 4 star hotel. Rooms are clean, staff are nice, and breakfast is simple. Good thing is that heating works perfectly. We stayed for one night, but we could see this hotel is close to everything. Besides, Stromstad is an expensive city. I think that is what justifies the hotel rates.
Very centrally located literally in the town centre and within a short walk from the railway station or the ferry terminal. Rooms are of different standard, but my room was spacious and clean. Not all rooms have shower or bath. No online booking as far as I can see, so you need to call or email to make reservations. First thing front staff did after entering the hotel was to present the bill - I don`t mind paying in advance and it is company policy, but welcoming the guest first would perhaps be better. Good value considering the general price level. Excellent breakfast.
