It is a practical camping with good facilites but doesn't have the cosy feeling we were looking for. The location is good, not far from the Ferry to the Koster Islands. The facilities are modern, we were very pleased with the kitchen and dining room, which are together. It is a big camping with lot of people and it wasn't entirely clear in which locations you could pitch your tent. We had some problems with the automatic check in but after waiting for a bit we could check in at the desk. Quite pricey.

Three friends on motorbikes had a nice weekend using this camp as a base for further exploration of the Swedish west coast. Good and safe parking just outside the cabin. Cabins with bathroom, kitchen and comfortable beds. Choosing to have one cabin each was a luxury in order to have enough space for equipment and also to have a good nights sleep without listening to your soon to be ex-friends snooring. Warm coffe and bread buns at the camp shop was a nice touch for breakfast. Also the possibility to have final cleaning of the cabin done was appreciated. Rental of beadsheets and towels was convenient. The service from arrival to departure was excellent! Highly reccomended.

Room Tip: Choose the large twin bed cabins. The small ones are really small.

A perfect camping site for motorhomes, but it also have great spots for tents and caravans. In walking distance of the city centre for those of you that want to experinece Strömstad. The faciliites at the camping site (toilets, showers etc.) are nice and the personell are service minded.

The tentarea is close to the service buildings and that is always nice. But even though you pay for electricity, you have to be lucky to actually get some, since there is one plug for every 10 tent. Shower is included in the price... Great! But they play the most awful Swedish schlager music 24/7 which makes it impossible to enjoy your shower. Actually the music is in every building all the time, and it will drive you insane. The staff are very friendly and service minded.
