My husband and I spent our delayed honeymoon at Tiskita and enjoyed every minute of it. Clyde and his family were perfect hosts and the property itself was breath taking. My husband surfed every monring and we spent every afternoon relaxing by the pool. If you want to see the wildlife without hiking, the pool is hands down the place...

A friend and I spend eight nights at Tiskita. The Lodge is part of a large property and all buildings are perfectly embedded into nature. So there is really privacy if you wan't to spend some time on your own. In the morning you wake up with the sound of the birds and you can always hear the ocean. It...

I travelled here with a friend, and it was a fantastic way to experience tropical wildlife. The family who runs the lodge is helpful, friendly and welcoming, and they want you to have the best experience possible. They are always ready to entertain guests with stories and interesting facts about wildlife, and helpful to arrange activities and transportation. There was...

Remote, laid back, jungle simplicity. Clyde was a great host, and was generous with his knowledge and stories, often very funny, of the local wildlife. He also provided us good direction for surfboard rentals and surf spots. Accomodations were great. Lots of wildlife and extensive trails on property. A real treasure of a place. Can't wait to return with my...

Very quiet, away from manmade noise. The wild life literally goes right by your porch. Very comfortable room. The bathroom opening into the jungle is great.Peter,Lisbeth, and Clyde were usually available at meals to share stories. Guided tours are great. There is so much wildlife to observe that we wanted to stay longer. The food was all very tasty. It was amazing...

Our March 2013 visit was our third trip Tiskita, a family-operated ecotourist lodge. The extensive trail system on the 800-acre reserve and the beaches and tide pools below offer plenty of activities for a four or five day stay. Cabins, with lovely views, are cooled by the ocean breeze. Clientele tend to be more experienced and motivated Costa Rica travelers,...

My husband and I were lucky enough to visit Tiskita Jungle Lodge, in Costa Rica. Getting there was half the fun as we flew into Tiskita’s private air strip on a Cessna six-seater airplane. The lodge is situated just up the hill from the Punto Banco beach, in the middle of a rainforest teeming with spectacular colourful birds, and monkeys...

Marina and I left DC behind, Grant NYC, and Bekah, the mid-East. We stepped into a renewing jungle after a small aircraft flight from San Jose that landed on the horse's pasture. "Take the jeep up to the lodge?" No way, and so we walked up to the lodge catching site of amazing hummingbirds , Macaws, and the white faced...

We loved our time at this remote lodge where our cabin nestled in the jungle with no other building in sight. On walks between cabin & lodge we met other animals strolling the paths such as agoutis, coatis, iguanas. We never tired of hiking the trails, the beach or swimming in the ocean. A beautiful horseback ride was another highlight....

A very special place. You're made to feel part of the Aspinall family as soon as you arrive. The cabin was very spacious and the huge balcony overlooking the jungle and ocean gave lots of opportunity for watching the birds and monkeys. Within five minutes of arriving at our cabin, we had a welcome committe of 4 scarlet macaws and...
