This is a lovely hotel. Well placed for all the tourist attractions in North Wales. Nice reception bar area. Very nice staff with great customer service. Room was pleasant. Owner showed us to our room. He was very proud of the Hugh bed. Looked like a super king size. No. Just two singles put together. Not comfortable for a cuddle...

We chose this hotel purely on its location we arrived to find the place locked up and it did not open until 4pm.It is advertised as a 3 star hotel and should be open all day, the owner said he is entitled to some time to himself to chill out, so he should have reception staff to serve drinks and...

Enjoyed the 2 nights break. Very pleasant and friendly family- run hotel. Clean and pleasant facilities. Had little problem with loose lock on room door that was rectified very quickly. Conveniently located for things to do in North Wales

Nice and quiet hotel tucked away a 20 minute drive away from Llanberis, Room was clean and tidy with a small toilet and shower area and external sink, TV was a tiny 14" old analogue TV/VHS player but I suppose we didn't come to watch it too much. Staff friendly and the evening meals and service great, Breakfast was ordered...

Clean, tranquil, relaxing break in lovely grounds surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. I cannot give negative comments as the Groupon price was well worth the money spent on this short mid week break. As we have large appetites I usually choose hotels where we can help ourselves to breakfast starters and coffee but as this was waitress service so...

The staff at The Lodge cannot be faulted, neither can the service. However, there are a few points which mean that we probably won't return. Firstly, I think it's a bit odd that you can't book in before 4pm (the doors are locked!). Also, for nearly £100 a room I expected a bit more for my money. The bedlinen and...
