During the Thakhek Loop we stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The food was extremely delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. So even if you just take a break there for food, it’s definitely worth it.

We stayed at the Sanhak for one night during our motorbike ride of the Thakhek Loop. It is a small, quiet and clean guesthouse in a convenient location to both the Konglor Caves and the road out of the loop. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable enough (super firm Asian mattress) and the wifi worked fine while in the dining area. They did our laundry quickly and cheaply. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Sanhak guesthouse is a real gem. The restaurant serves delicious Loas & western food. Our French toast breakfast was spectacular. The rooms were well priced & clean. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if planning to hike to Namsanam waterfall.

We stayed one night in this property. Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable but pillows were too hard: impossible to sleep well. We had hot water. Phonic isolation was a real issue: we could hear from our room people who were talking in the restaurant, late in the evening and early in the morning, so expect to have a short night. We tried the restaurant for diner: prices were fair but the two dishes we chose [pad Thai and noodles] were not so tasty. Breakfast was really overpriced: 30,000 LAK for fried eggs with ham. We recommend this place only for one night during the Thathek's loop.

Best hostel we stayed in on our travels so far. Great price. Really clean and comfortable. Fabulous food. We had lovely hot shower, however our friend s in another room only had cold water. (The only bad thing.) So good we returned after Konglor cave and stayed again!!

Sanhak guesthouse offers very good accomodation for a very reasonable price. Beds are very comfortable, showers are clean and warm, towels are provided, service is very friendly and the atmosphere was very good at the time we were staying (rainy season). Bikes could be parked inside and the gate was closed at night. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work at the time of our stay, but the staff actively tried to resolve this issue. Also, the food served in the restaurant is great: be sure to try the (cheap) pad Thai and sweet & sour.

After having a really rough day of navigating the road from Konglor Cave (and dealing with a rough bike accident) this place was an awesome find. I was hurt and had my spirits slightly broken. We arrived at around 2pm and me and my friend were the only people there. We were met with warm relaxing music and ate a delicious lunch while taking in a great mountain view. I am sorry that i didnt get your name before we left but the manager (a woman who seemed like the manager) helped patch us up with some local Laos remedies. The food was amazing, the rooms were clean, and the ac (which you have to pay extra for) worked really well. The wifi wasnt the best, but not bad enough to ruin my stay at this awesome little place.

We stayed one night at this very clean guest house for only 50.000 kip. The hot shower was the best I have had in a long time. They have a quite nice restaurant area where they serve pretty cheap food, good what we have tried. Wifi not great but ok. If you are doing the loop and can't make it to Konglor, this is a good place to stay. It is very quiet, there were only two other people when we were there so it is not the social spot. I was only a bit dissapointed by the fact that even though it was announced that English was spoken there (one of the reasons we picked this place actually, as we wanted to get some travel information), we did not see anyone who could speak a word of English until check-out. Also I was sending a few emails to the general manager which he answered quickly in the beginning, but later he(she?) must have gotten tired of me and just never answered my two last mails anymore. These things could be done better.

Great spot, not far from Konglor Cave! Stayed one night in the loop. $11 for a room with a/c. Clean and comfortable. Ford was excellent! Have the brownie with ice cream and the French toast! Would definitely stay here over anything we saw at the cave itself.
