The view of Kihei and Haleakala is fabulous from Maalaea. We love this well kept, clean, quiet friendly condominiums. Nice pool, top quality barbecues & lawn area. The tiki torches at night are a lovely touch. A short 5-10 min walk to a 5 mile beach. The bulkhead out front and bay area is home to many turtles- I've been...

We stayed in a beautiful ground floor condo (on VRBO) just steps from the ocean and pool. Take a cup of coffee ( or an adult beverage) to the sea wall (or one of many lounge chairs) and watch the sea turtles play in the surf. We have seen whales from the lanai as well! Walking distance to the Maui...

We stayed at Maalaea Kai for 4 nights this March and loved every minute of it. Everyday we enjoyed coffee in the morning and dinner on the lanai. We didn't notice the winds as a problem but the island was having unsettled weather anyhow. The pool was heated and felt great on the rainy day we had. There were a...

This unit was exactly as advertised. We loved being able to sit on the lenai for breakfast each day and watch the turtles in the surf just below us! We also saw several whales in the Bay. Bring your binoculars for even more viewing!! The waves crashing and wind are pretty loud!! (And we frequently camp on wild ocean shores...

We stayed at the Maalaea Kai Resort #205 5/21/16-5/28/16. This was absolutely one of the best vacations we've taken, and a big part of that was because of the excellent accommodations. The resort is quiet, clean and centrally located on the island. Working with the owner Dianne was easy and she thought of her guests every need, including a beautiful...

We rented this condo last minute due to an error in our previous booking at a different property on the island. Barbara P. was phenomenal! She took my frantic call in the wee hours of the morning on a Sunday. We booked this condo as its location and availability seemed to fit our needs. We were not disappointed. Despite only...

We were in condo 414 with a beautiful view from the upstairs master bedroom. Maalaea Kai is on a coral reef so it is right at the water but no beach outside this condo. The Sugar beach is about 1/4 mile down the nearly private road. The condo was clean and well kept. A manager named Barbara was very helpful...

We recently stayed in room #408. The apartment was lovely, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, everything seemed new and modern and very clean. The view was oceanfront, and the resort grounds were lovely, lit up for Christmas. Check-in was very easy with MAALAEA BAY REALTY/RENTALS LLC. Only downside was the nearby harbor area did not offer much in way of food,...

Currently staying here as part of a Airbnb for a week on the 3rd floor ocean facing. We are enjoying the peace and quiet, the clean space, and still being close to Kihei where the food and action is. We've been able to travel the island without difficulty from this location. The residents here are very kind and welcoming to...

So, this is my second year staying here. This year we picked a different condo #408. It's a beauty. Of course wonderful Ocean view. Nicely decorated and somewhat quite. The condo next to us is being renovated so we did have some noise during the day a the smell of paint. I would have appreciated some notice on this. But,...
