Travelled to Coalville to play a show with my band at The Vic Bikers Pub (very friendly over there), and could not fault the staff at all. They were very friendly and helpful, especially when I was having problems with my key card. Had a great night's sleep, didn't get any food as we had to leave early the next...

This Hotel was very nice, lovely and clean, comfy bed, hairdryer provided, tea and coffee also. Lovely warm room and lovely view out of the window of the bowls pitch which was being used when we arrived. The bathroom was on the small side but we managed and it had all that we needed. We were only staying one night....

Came here for a Sunday lunch with family members. Menu is quite limited, 3-4 starters, a carvery buffet main course with beef, lamb, pork and turkey (no veggie option) and 5-6 desserts to choose from. The restaurant is located in a bright and airy atrium area and the tables are well spaced apart. Service is decent and the main course...

I had a meal with my parents on a Sunday lunch time. The menu was a carver with starters and desserts. The carver was very good with four types of meat on offer, and lots of fresh vegetables. The desserts were definitely not homemade, but adequate. The staff were really friendly, and service was efficient. The only issue is the...

We stayed here last night , we paid £55 for the stay . It was OK the staff were very friendly , the room was very basic but it was fit for purpose . I will commend the staff however as I had left my phone and they kept it for me which was nice. It is a bit tired...

Had this hotel booked on my behalf for business visit. As a previous review, strong smell of old cooking oil dominates the whole reception and dining area. Reception area tired and dall carpets dirty. No idea when it last saw a vacuum. Room, my bed was ok but en suite dirty, dusty and an interesting array of body hairs both...

I recently stayed here after a friends wedding which was based in the hotel. Although it isn't up to myself to review the wedding do, I must admit we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel feels like a safe environment when you have a small child (like I do!) and I was able to relax, safe in the knowledge that...

We arrived at hotel to find our room was not ready, that we could deal with. But to find they do not do lunches was a bit of a shock, although it was advertised on a banner outside the property that they provided lunches. We had to go and get lunch from elsewhere why they finished preparing/cleaning the room. We...

HermManager, Manager at Hermitage Park Hotel, responded to this review

Well I have to say that I am completely at a loss as to how to respond to this load of nonsense. All I can say is that it was quite obvious that the guests target was to receive a free bottle of wine and free dinner, which they accomplished. I would caution other Hoteliers as to the motive of...

The hotel was great lovely breakfast and quiet well equipped rooms. Staff were very helpful and nothing was a bother to them on leaving hotel the manager asked if we would give them a ring when we got home to Scotland so as she knew we were home safe Excellent hotel cant wait to go back

Really needs some love and attention and in need of updating. Upon entry, there's a distinct smell of cooking oil, and you are welcomed with an intercom to press for when there's no-one at reception. The bathroom was small, the shower was bad with no thermostatic controls and poor flow and had that dreaded shower curtain. Breakfast was self-service -...
