Stayed here for a week end while riding in the Limerick Forest. Very cosy house, the style is well cultivated to make you feel like going back in time. Isabella room is nice, loved the little "balcony" room. Looked niced on the pictures when we booked and it really is, we were ready to do without in room bathroom (shared... More

This Inn was the highlight of a recent trip. It is at 408 East St, Prescott. The original house dates 1845 and was built by the same Colonel Wellington who built Wellington Fort nearby as a defense against the Americans across the St. Lawrence in Ogdensburg. It was renovated and expanded in 1906 with absolutely gorgeous woodwork wainscoting and panelling... More

We recently stayed here for a college parents weekend. Nice roads around the area. The boarder crossing is smooth without much holdup. Staying here on the St Lawrence river was really great. Walking around town is nice but driving down the river toward the 1000 islands is a real highlight. The buildings getting to Brockville and in the town are... More

Loved everything about this place. Very well located. Excellent service. Charming older home...felt like we had stepped back in time. The breakfast was served with fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon and such good coffee. Would go back there in a second.

Mike, the owner greeted us at the door on our arrival and showed us to our room which was in an annex right next door. The room was very large, delightfully furnished and contained all that was necessary - and some more. We asked for some ice - (this is a small place with no ice machine) which he gave... More

After a long day of travel, we were lucky to discover this gem. Wonderful, comfortable room, interesting historic building and lots of antiques and books to look through. The food was beautifully served, very tasty and generous. We left only two little crumbs! The host had gluten free option for me as well! Excellent experience and close by beautiful Brockville... Loved our stay in the Colonel's room and the joining room to accommodate 4 of us. The porch off the room was a bonus for late night wine and lots of talking. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and yogurt and any combination of breakfast food you want. Loved the old china dishes! The host was great, making sure we... More

We booked at the last minute, check in was already closed but the owners came back to welcome us. The room was big with private bathroom and a small kitchnette. Very comfortable and clean. The building is very nice and the style is like a country House in old England...beautiful! The breakfast is very good with fresh fruits, bread, eggs,... More

My wife and I had never stayed at a B&B before. We booked the Colonel's Inn because it was a reasonable distance from Ottawa after coming in after a long flight. We were really happy that we booked here. We stayed in the Colonel's suite, which is the only room with its own bathroom. What an amazing experience. Mike and... More

My wife and I satyed here for a night out at the Shakespeare Festival. Although check-in wasn't until 5pm, we called ahead and were told we could arrive early as the room had been cleaned. We checked-in and immediately went to the pool. The pool was clean but a little cold (even in the middle of a hot summer). There... More
