Stop on the way out to Italy with Treyn. Excellent clean room, with good facilities. Was even able to have a cup of tea in the room as there was a warm drinks tray. Opposite the train station so well placed to catch an early train. Good choice of food for breakfast. No evening meal but our group went to...

Another chain hotel, totally overpriced, not offering anything special. The only positive thing being the location (oposite the train station), apart from that I would not recommend it at all. Rooms were old and badly refurbished.

After a long drive down from Caen we eventually got to the hotel for a welcome stop over before driving on to the alps the following morning, we arrived at 23.30hrs, the car park was full but the helpful gentleman behind the desk kindly offered to let us park our 3 cars in the hotel layby and he would watch...

The hotel was a typical Mercure in terms of decor but when you're on your way home after several weeks away there's something comforting about the familiar and not finding any idiosyncracies. Our room was a good size with a nice big bed. Everything was spotless and the public areas were very well maintained. Staff were very pleasant and efficient....

We stayed at this hotel on our stopover on our journey down to Chiavari with Treyn. It’s situated across the road from the train station and was a wonderful start to our holiday. Our room was superb and even offered a beverage tray, which we found unusual for a continental hotel. It was quiet, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Breakfast...

At the end of a very long day this hotel was a complete delight. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast provided a very wide and fresh choice. The only disappointment was that they appeared to be unable to provide an evening meal for our group. I would certainly return here so that we could explore Chambery further

We arrived only to find that our Disco would not fit in the car park (max height 2.9). No problem said the receptionist, park it out the front which we did. The hotel was in good condition and I can't agree with previous posts that it needs a refurb. Maybe it has just had one! Our room was very modern...

We enjoyed our stay, the room was a reasonable size, clean and air conditioned. Staff and management were very helpful and friendly. Our booking included breakfast which was excellent. The location is good, but about 5-10 mins walk to the old town and most popular eating areas.
