The breakfasts are to die for, the owners are very friendly and hospitable....after two days we feel like we have known them for years. The house is amazing, finished to the highest quality and nothing missed out. The love and care Catherine and Barry have put into their home is obvious to see and we feel privileged to have shared... Had a fabulous short stay at Old Bewick Farmhouse with a group of friends on a long distance cycling weekend. The farmhouse is beautiful, spacious and graceful, furnished and looked after with much love. It's a place of real peace, with just the sound of sheep amidst simply stunning scenery with views to the nearby Cheviot hills. Thank you Catherine... More

I stayed here twice last summer (2013) and had a wonderful time. The house, rooms and location are really beautiful and you can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the high standards. I had a whole suite to myself the first time which was a real treat and shared it with a friend the second. The hosts are... More

The hosts seemed to have thought of everything. I was given a whole suite and there was a full complement of toiletries, different tea bags, wine glasses etc etc. The place seems to have been recently refurbished and all very tasteful, to my mind anyway. Inspiring landscape photos on the walls. Really good breakfast. You order what you want the... More

This was perfect for our family get-together weekend. The quality of accommodation was amongst the best we've ever had: spacious rooms, stylish decor, spotlessly clean, every possible need anticipated. The owners gave us a warm welcome, cooked delicious breakfasts and, overall, provided a brilliant experience.
