Curassow Amazon Lodge made our dream come true: Visit the Amazon Rainforest and navigate the Amazon River. Activities well organized, staff always willing to help, and tasteful meals. We saw river dolphins, a lot of birds, alligators and monkeys from our balcony at the room early in the morning. Remember, the ecolodge is in a natural reserve. We stayed for... More

Such a unique and amazing experience. It starts with a 2+ hour boat ride up the river to your remote lodging. The setting is beautiful with bamboo huts on stilts and elevated walkways. The food was incredible - so many new flavors and ingredients. The camu camu fruit was our favorite. Our guide, Walter, was a walking jungle encyclopedia. We... More

The lodge is isolated at a smaller side-arm of the Amazon River and, surrounded by the Amazon Forest. It's a great location to go exploring from, with all the excursions the lodge provides. Our guide spoke great english and his knowledge about the jungle (animals, plants, local myth, current on-goings,...) seemed to be endless. Even better was his eyesight thought,... More

The lodge and our tour guide are really super. His knowledge about the jungle is amazing and our eyes are wide open. Of course, the mosquito and flea are also unavoidable, but this is worth taking the pain of this. No one should miss this kind of experience when they can afford to do so physically. Really appreciate the lodge... More

I travelled to South America with my husband and daughter and we enjoyed our few days at the Curassow Lodge. We were the only guests so we were treated very well. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable but his English was a bit underdone and we sometimes found him hard to understand. Our rooms were adequate and clean and most... More

We had an amazing time at the Curassow Lodge. I had been communicating with Jazmin prior to our arrival to get all of the details of our trip arranged. Dear Georgia H.: Thank you for recommend us with your friends...! This is very important for us! We visit the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Reserve, 3 hours away by boat from Iquitos. This lodge combines the maximum comfort you can reasonably expect in jungle with great food, friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable guides, and fun and educational adventures. In the wild you probably see less animals that you imagine (especially monkeys) but that's not the lodge problem. Strongly recommend!
