Stayed here as part of a Blue Morpho tour. Blue Morpho was a life changing experience and I can't recommend them enough. The lodge itself is beautiful with the vibe of living a jungle life with all the amenities of home, western style toilets, hot water available 24 hours, and even a swimming pool. The staff was wonderful. The food...

We just completed a trip to Heliconia Lodge for our first Amazon experience. It was a wonderful experience. Had wonderful 4 days 3 nights stay at the lodge. The people right from the reservation specialist Grecia to the Guide(Daniel) and Marina and her staff in the Lodge were very nice.I would highly recommend. They do take electricity away between midnight to 5.30 A.M and also during the day for some hours. I did not feel bothered by it...

An extraordinarily well run lodge. This lodge is very comfortable and offers an outstanding value when you put together the quality of the guides, the interesting side trips and the facility itself. Excellent dining, an amazingly pleasant and friendly atmosphere, and high caliber staff. The guides were local, knew their stuff, and were keen to share their knowledge and expertise....

In the wildness of the Amazon Jungle we felt safe, watched over but enjoyed incredible excursions with their wonderful guides!! The food was prepared on the premises and was yummy and fresh. We were able to catch piranas, see wild Pink Dolphins, visit a authentic Amazon village, go bird and animal watching, do a Amazon Jungle walk, etc.

Heliconia River Lodge makes for an incredible experience of the Amazon. Our guide Daniel was just phenomenal and organised activities to keep us engaged throughout! When not in the jungle, we could lounge in the hammock, take a dip in the pool, or stay at the bar. The food they prepare is absolutely amazing too!

What a fantastic experience! All the staff were great and we were always kept busy. So glad we did this, a bit of luxury in the jungle. Saw and did things I'm sure I'll never get the chance to again. We were traveling for 11 weeks and this was a total highlight.

This gave us a good, varied, comfortable sample of life on the Amazon, in the rain forest. Food was good, plentiful, fresh, and local as much as possible. I liked the fact that the lodge was ecologically sensitive to the environment in not providing electricity during the day when most visitors were out on excursions and less likely to need...
