If you want quiet place to take rest avoid this place...in my case i ride a bicicle from thakek 100km and the only thing i wanted to do just resting They do barbeque every night wich I thin is nice... but after bbk music very loud till midnight. I didn't know that was a guest house for party in the middle of nowhere Staff friendly

This is one of the best guest houses I have stayed in in my travels of Laos. They do a BBQ at about 19:30 and it was 50,000 Kip. I didn’t partake as I arrived about 2 hours earlier and was starving so I ate then. The room was basic, but adequate for a premises out in the sticks. WiFi wasn’t that good but the place is out in the sticks. Staff are very friendly. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re on the loop and stopping in Thalang. The Fish and Chips has a weird but funny description on the menu. Look out for that!

The worst place I have ever slept in. Shower doesn't function, smell in the room, mold and ants everywhere and food overpriced. When I ask help for the shower problem nopeople resolve the problem. Don't go there

The room was very nice, a private lodge with a nice bathroom with Hot water and good water pressure. Very big and soft bed. Nice place to meet fellow loopers. Bbq is nothing special but it is nice to Come together to eat.

We stayed 1 night during the loop. Great place with a lot of fun. There is delicious BBQ food as well. The rooms are basic but fine, with a fan and mosquitonet. They also provide good breakfast for a cheap price. Highly recommended!

This is the place to stay in Thalang during your trip in the loop! We volunteer with my girlfriend here and it was the best time we had in Laos! Homemade french bakery, fantastic all you can eat BBQ every night, fire, pétanque and fantastic vibe! Come to see us!!!

We stopped for one night and really enjoyed our time here. We got a big room and were able to play petanque while waiting for the barbecue! The atmosphere was cosy by the fire. Really nice guesthouse and good location

Such a great hostel - perfect for after a day of motor biking. We stayed here whilst completely the Thakhek loop and it was amazing. The staff were really friendly and the room was immaculate - we had a double room with a fan and an ensuite. The price was reasonable reflecting the wonderful facilities for a night stay. The bed was very comfy with even comfier bed linen. The highlight had to be the BBQ - the selection of food was immense and so tasty (a selection of meats, fries, pizza and salad then served was dessert). The breakfast was reasonably priced and also fresh and tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

This is where all travellers meet in the evening on the thakhek loop. From 5 pm till 7 pm motorbikes keep arriving at this place. All enjoying a cold beer after a long day and a family bbq. Bungalows are clean with own bathroom and toilet.

I can’t recall the proprietors name, however is was very warm and welcoming when my group arrived off the loop several hours after sunset. He welcomed us in and showed us around. We enjoyed the barbecue (so good!) and chilled by the fire with the rest of the guest. I would definitely stay here again.
