We ignored the poor reviews and took 3 children (8-10) for two nights camping in August and it has to be said, they had a blast. The top camping field in particular was pleasant, looking out onto farmland. The facilities were a little tired but they were clean and the showers were hot. We had full days so didn't make...

Another visit to Sothview still a very clean and peaceful site. The site had the basic amenities for a welcome stay. This site is a short drive away from the shops but we took everything we needed for our three three days. We made the walk to Herne Bay this time without getting lost. This time using the public footpath...

Great flat, grass site for our tourer. All facilities spotless and regularly cleaned and maintained by the owner who was outstanding. Pub 100 paces up the road, wonderful. Situation for investigating all the area perfect. Canterbury and seaside resorts all close by yet the quiet and peace of a lovely green site. Lots of footpaths, but many overgrown in June...

We visited for a few days in August and found everything to be in good order and the site owner to be very helpful. Close to whitstable and here bay as well as other East Kent attractions. The pub at the end of the road serves nice good too. Would definitely come here again.

Just returned from a BH week end stay at this very clean and peaceful site. The site had the basic amenities for a welcome stay. It was so pleasant to have stayed on a site and not be surrounded by barking Dogs or traffic zooming past. Although the site is a short drive away from any shops, we took everything...

Stayed at this campsite for the bank holiday weekend in our tent and was very surprised at the excellent facilities including some benches that were on site. The pitches and shower area were very well maintained. The only downside was that the showers had minimal power to them and were a dribble at best, but were working nonetheless!! Overall was...

First time camping in a few years and we decided to try this site as we love the Prince of Wales pub a few yards away. It was lovely and clean - especially the loos and showers - so we were happy. We had a picnic table next to our tent. My only teeny gripe is that we were told...

We arrived for a three night stay and was greeted by Vivians husband who just said pitch to the right so we did! One half was for caravans the other for tents - only electric for caravans. There is a washing up area. Two showers and four toilets in mens and ladies which were cleaned daily. There was also a...
