The place is full with European tourists but is not well advertised and known in India. However, it is worth a visit as the place offers you a quiet and relaxing holiday. Around 160 kms from Rajeev Chowk, Gurgaon. Driving time approx 3.5 hours. However, if you are planning to visit in near future, keep atleast 4.5 hours driving time...

Booked the Surajgarh fort for stay, Cocktails & Dinner for our 40yrs of celebrating our graduation from school. The food & snacks were awesome with good personalized service. Initially we were dealing with Mr Chaki who was very courteous & welcoming and then later on with Mr Vinod Swamy who was again very courteous and homely and gave a personalized...

The Surajgarh Fort is an excellent location. I am reviewing this hotel as a tour leader that is constantly coming with groups from Europe. The hospitality of the staff is particularly great especially that of Chandra Prakash Dixit, the front desk manager, who has always been very professional and very friendly with the groups. The local Haveli houses and the...

It is a nice piece of history preserved. I am glad that I got to see it and learn a bit about that era in this part of India. The pluses are: only place worth staying in this area; staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Minuses: our rooms were too small (have heard that other rooms are...

We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade, bathroom, bedroom, sitting room, dressing room, small internal veranda, drinks area. Very friendly, lovely food, amazing setting, quiet pool. We took a camel cart ride - lots of fun and there was music and dancing in the evening. Free wifi in reception. Air con was old and needs improvement and it...

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour of India. Grand lobby area (and the only area with wi-fi), and the historic building was home to some characterful rooms with modern bathrooms. Our double was huge and full of nice touches. Food was par for the course across our travels, lunch was a just-about-average buffet, dinner pretty good,...
